Yeah, sorry, I meant why not give him a run out at Stamford Bridge rather than just loaning him out. Mourinho has hardly seen him play (don't tell me as Real boss he just happened to watch highlights of the Baggies games last year), yet he just farms him out. Daft. But I agree, superb signing for Everton.

My mate was a goal keeper. Not even close to being non-league standard but I remember him working out a formula whereby if he lived in San Marino he'd be playing international football. It was when we played them and went 1-0 down by a poor Pearce back pass. It made perfect sense when he went through it.

Have a look at the team we put out. You can't make a silk purse from a pigs ear.
We have 3-4 middle of the road PL players (Aarron Hughes, Steve Davis, Johnny Evans, and Brunty) the rest are kids, journey-men or has beens. We should still be beating Luxembourg don't get me wrong, but you could put the greatest manager the world's ever seen (that's Shankly or Paisley, not auld sour bake lol) and he wouldn't get that team playing any better.

I think the Republic just parted company with Trapatoni, so no doubt they'll continue their habit and rather than nick our players (Gibson and that wee **** McClean) they'll nick our ex-player to be their new manager, Martin O'Neil. They may as well just call themselves "Norn Iron mark 2" (the slightly inferior version, obv) Lol

the thing is these were the games liverpool were losing last year, still work to do but a massive improvement.

Probably a fair result on balance, though Swansea dominated the second half. Pool looked a bit shaky at the back, bu given sahko was making his debut and wisdom is still pretty raw that's not too surprisingly.

Gotta say i was really disappointed in ass-pass and Sterling. They offered NOTHING when they came on. They gave it away time and again, failed miserably to hold it up and ran into Swansea defenders time and again. sterling has potential, but it may be just that. ass-pass looks to be far far too light-weight for the PL. he reminds me of Nunez or Gonzalez, and that aint good!

Gotta question signing Ass-pass when Borini could run about doing nothing equally well - in fact I think Borini was a little more productive.
Pool died when Coutinho went off.
Both full-backs totally exposed and midfield seemed somewhat vacant as everyone was sat deep.
Aside from the first game the second halves have been bad - but theyre showing resilience and nicking points that last year were hard to come by at the start - and our record in 2013 has been pretty awesome.

Very happy with 10 from 12. We know we can play much better, but keep grinding results when were not so good could make for a decent year

i think arseparse is a bit more dynamic in a front 3, does more work and link up rather than scoring goals, i keep forgetting suarez is back soon so our options look pretty damn good up front, cant wait for kelly to come back into the fold tough, wisdom looked awful at times and way out of his depth, he is a centre back though.

Basel have been around in Europe for a few seasons now tho and are a decent outfit. They got to the Semis of the Europa an was part of the group that United failed to get out of a few years back too
