Arsenal must be a hard club to support. Your manager plays beautiful football but is too tight/stubborn to buy any established, and therefore expensive, players. Preferring instead to buy cheap (mainly french speaking kids no one has heard of) and hoping they come good. Now some do, don't get me wrong, but when your 'biggest/best' players get fecked off waiting for the club to actually challenge for a trophy and leave pretty much every year, and when you aint won anything for eight years, you gotta wonder why no one on the board is saying "ehhh, Arsene, get yer head of yer arse and spend some money sunshine!"

Every year they get further and further from a serious PL title challenge, and yet apparently they have bucket loads of cash just sitting there. It's bizarre.

I have never liked Howard Webb but he was great today. Very fair to both teams. If Fulham's team was 5 years ago they'd be awesome. Berbatov has given up now. He was awful.

Cardiff will still struggle this year. First home game of the season, the adrenaline and City having all the cutting edge of a blunt spoon helped them. Give it a month or two, when the novelty has worn off, and they will be cannon fodder.

City will win FA with defending like that! Mind you given how exciting Utd v's Chelsea was, Arse, Spuds and Even Pool have got to be in with a shout.

Very tough draw for Arsenal. But Celtic oh dear!
Man Utd didn't get their usual piss easy group which was a surprise, City's not too easy either.
Chelsea very easy.

Interesting draw!

I fully expect City to qualify in Second behind Bayern.
Thats a tricky looking group for United. Leverkursen and Shakter are both very Champions League streetwise and decent sides too. Dont know much about Real S but they did beat Lyon 4-0 in Qualifying so arent complete push overs. With DMs lack of Champions League experience I think we may well just scrape second.

Celtic will be overwhelmed this time have sold Hooper and Wanyama plus Wilson was a Great Defender.
Chelsea will stroll their group and once again its gonna be a hard slog for Arsenal.

Looking forward to this year!

Yeah, tough draws.
Celtic are playing Ajax for UEFA cup football after xmas. Chelsea should get out of that group fairly easily. City ditto, depending on when their trip to Moscow is. Arsenal will have a real battle. I could see that group being one of the tightest and even coming down to the last game. Good to see Utd not get their usual bye to the second round. Moyes will have to hit the ground running there.

For some reason Mourinho does not like Mata. Both Mata and Torres (both linked to Arsenal) have been left out of the Spain squad.
Arsenal had Mata virtually signed 3 years ago but Chelsea gazumped it on wages and the greedy **** (like Hazard) went there instead.
