Premier League Discussion Thread 2013/14

I'm still saying 5th.

The thing is I think it's only Asia who are plowing daft money into Man Utd. These fans will, generally speaking, happily drop a club for whoever is flavour of the month. If they don't make CL, and with the debts they have, and with the money needed to invest in the team ..... the writings on the wall.

I saw a Youtube clip of I it a few minutes ago, I still haven't figured out how the ball gets through the side of the net. Surely there would need to be a decent sized hole and as the officials check the nets before the game I would assume even Stevie Wonder would spot a whole the size of a football!?

Oh dear spurs

Bloody hell, awful to watch from a Spurs point of view, getting slaughtered :!:

City are building that GD once again

Utd need to pull out a convincing performance today, TBH I can't see it though

Great season for neutrals though

Yeah up to +21 already!

Would hate to lose the title that way again! :(

Really need the three points today!

Historically always looked to the Christmas period onwards in regard to title, but can't see it this season, top 4 the way we have played to date, is just not going to happen, so big change needed,

There you go ......that's utd this season all over, never controlling a game, not good enough in midfield and defence, open season with set pieces against us, didn't see the Rooney incident, but by. All accounts he should have been off.

Bloody depressing :!: love utd and always will but its painful as a fan at the moment, irrespective of what is said they won the title comfortably last season and DM ha inherited that team, but it's too much of a shake up to loose SAF, but not only that the coaching staff and back room boys....

Playing like that, 5 th is a tall order if you ask me, but you never know DM might just find a small bag of magic dust that SAF has left in a drawer :?

Desperate now :!:

:? Indeed :!:

Never lose the faith though, thats a given, everyone complains about their own team, but then defends them to the death, and thats just how it should be, a bit of reality is good and character building :D

I really do think that this is Arsenals for the taking, but they have a history of the wheels falling off, just got a feeling that its Chelsea that will benefit if they do.

Like i said previously though, for the neutrals, this is a great season,

Anyway, I'm going to look at the pics of the trophy room I took when I went on the OT tour, always cheers me up after a bad result, :D and sing Utd Road whilst doing so :D

This season's a washout for Utd, if we bought Ozil it might have been different but even then I think we need a solid winger. Adan def 1 for the future but we need someone now. I think 5th place is probably right but we'll see some major signing in January. As long as we dont over pay for over rated players (fellani) we might scrape a cl spot.
What about Southampton though, I'd love to see them qualify for a cl spot ( instead of Chelsea, Man city or the filth).

Agree on Southampton, would be a fantastic achievement.

Ozil is def one that got away, have to see what we can do in Jan, a sensible spend, not a panic buy Like fellani, just buying for the sake of it.
Just need to move on now and put some great performances out there,
Lets hope the old passion and pride pushes us forward.
