Premier League Discussion Thread 2013/14

So Suarez says there are "two or three clubs interested" in him and he's keeping his phone with him at all times. Great player, **** attitude, and as a Liverpool fan I feel let down after the club have stuck by him (often wrongly) all this time. If he doesn't want to play for us he should piss off and not bother coming back for training.

It's been nailed on that he'd be leaving since the end of last season. Can't see him going to Arsenal to be honest, although whatever happens we'll get dicked over the transfer fee. We always do and with that clown Ayre conducting the deal then he'll probably be sold for 50p and a past it reserve player.

Arsenal are just trying to sell season tickets. Don't know what they're playing at.

I think Man U are having a laugh. Fabregas will not come back to England

Keeping with tradition will all the Liverpool fans come out wearing Suarez Tshirts to show their support

I think it's funny that Rodgers is asking him to be loyal. The only loyalty in football is with the fans. And sometimes not even then. Footballers go where the money is. You just have to look at Barca and Real's bench.

What did Suarez say when he was welcomed back by all the fans?... "Fangs very much".

Seriously though, are the Gunners an upward step? I don't think so. Surprised they upped their bid to £40m though.

As a Gooner I'm pleased that Bale's virtually gone. But as a PL fan it's not good news. Spurs fans must e worried as he carried them last year. Even with £80 or so million where will that money go? Who could replace him?

I think you'll be surprised at how well we'll do without him. Personally i'm fine with him going. The money we're getting for him is ridiculous and we'll be able to strengthen the team heavily across the board creating a stronger more even team which is what we need.
We've already made 2 very good signings without Bale money. Scary to think what we could do to strengthen the team with the Bale money.
I'd be more worried as an Arsenal fan. Lots of talk about buying players and yet **** all coming through the door.
Keep checking this site tho and keep up to date with who is coming in from where-

Haha good one Pete. Yes us Arsenal fans are very worried that a lot of this hype is a smokescreen.
However I don't think you're spending the 'not Bale' money IMO.

I always wondered were Pascal Chimbonda went after he left Spurs

I didn't know it was as low as Market Drayton v Eastwood Town!

Tough looking tie for Arsenal in the CL against Fenerbahce but surely arsenal are playing a "ghost time with the Turks under investigation for match fixing :?

At last the day is nigh. Out of the top 7 I think Man U and Everton have it toughest and could see them drop points.

Anyone seen the article about SAF retiring because Howard Webb wouldn't be manning the goal line camera?

Be interesting to see how many pens Man U concede at home this season. Wasnt it ....... 0 last year?
