Goodness me City are getting the rub of the green with decisions at the moment!

Yeah, unreal. We were proper stitched up tonight. Our goal was good and their one wasn't. Nor was the red card obviously.

I actually couldn't believe it, if I was Tim Sherwood I would have asked the team to stop playing in protest. It's ridiculous that the FA can fine/ban players but officials can do whatever they like, they have far more power and influence on a game than an individual player does. That retard should be sacked and investigated for fraud, and the game should be replayed. With the game being the high stakes one it is these days, there is no excuse for not using cameras etc for major, potentially season changing decisions like that. Disgraceful. I do of course concede that City deserved to win though, just not to that extent.

On the plus side, hopefully Arsenal and Liverpool are slowly realising that they were only top of the league due to the worst starts to a season in a decade by the real top 4 sides, although United seem to be showing no signs of recovery. And I still think Spurs have had a ridiculous amount of bad luck even before the City game.

@Pete, didn't realise you were a Spurs fan, assumed you were a Gooner like everyone else in London  Let me know if you fancy going to a game some time, only down the road :)

Thing is i don't even think you can say City deserved to win. They were given 2 free goals and an extra man. That's how we had to play them. They are beatable away from home but not with a 2 goal headstart and an extra man. I honestly think we would have given them a game of it had the officials not been so incompetent. It really was unbelievable.

I haven't been to see Spurs in years. I was trying to get a ticket recently but unfortunately for real fans, all the tickets get sold to scalpers and the only way to get hold of them is to buy them from stubhub (which is owned by ebay btw  ) for 4 times the price. You'll pay around £80-£180 for a Spurs ticket on a good day. It's a disgrace and personally i think it should be illegal. It's not right. Out of principal i won't pay anymore than a ticket's face value. So i'm up **** creek.

Here's a nice example:
Spurs v Cardiff

Yeah I know what you mean! I caved in this season and bought a membership, for £40 it's not too bad over the whole season as I go to about 5 or 6 games usually. And even the cheapest membership is usually good enough to get tickets for all games, I even managed to get Arsenal tickets :)

So how does that work? I looked at it a bit when i was browsing the site for tickets. It seemed there were different levels of membership from White-Platinum (+silver, Gold etc) which i assumed meant unless you had the top membership you still aint getting any tickets so i din't bother.
Also, it seems fairly easy to get solo tickets but not a pair as most normal people would want.
If i thought i could get pairs of tickets regularly at face value i'd sign up!

Couldn't believe the Liverpool result on Tuesday but I'll gladly take it - the hangover the next day was slightly more tolerable because of the result.

All PL prices are beyond a joke. We were charge £58 away at Citeh and the Arsenal cup game is going to be £54!

I hate modern football.

I've never paid that low for a Premier League game. 10 years ago it was about that price. If it was 50odd quid to see Spurs i'd go every other week!

Yeah some dodgy Italian bastard has took over the club sacking the manager without speaking to him and replacing him with another Italian who has no managerial experience except with a team in the Italian Third division. Madness!

Brian Mc Dermott is a decent manager too!

So I'm a Lilywhite member, which is the cheapest option (£40 a year I think) and this table tells you when each level can buy tickets:

http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/tickets/ticket-on-sale-dates/

As long as you get on the site at 9.30 on the day you can get tickets for almost any game. The less in demand matches often go weeks without selling out.

You're right, you can only buy one ticket per member, but you can buy more than one if the others are for other people with memberships, you just need to know their number. I usually go with my brother.

The ticket prices also depend on where you sit, I usually got for the cheapest tickets which are £32-£54 depending on the away team. It's such a small stadium that the view is good from anywhere really.

I was watching SSN last night and they were claiming Leeds said McDermot was still their manager. Go figure!

God that was awful! Fair play to WBA they were the better side in the second half. They looked like the team pushing for CL not Liverpool. As for Toure's mistake......

City just didn't turn up last night. Mind you WTF Pelligrini was thinking playing demechilis is CM i'll never know. He was a liability in the first half and yet he stayed on for the full 90.
If I was Rodwell and especially Milner, I'd be demanding my contract be torn up now!

Taking off Negredo after an hour was very strange too. Navas was useless all night and Dzeko did his usual running around like a headless chicken and missing any half chance that came to him. Kolorov was leaving them massively exposed at the back from minute one and yet nothing was done about it. I really do think sometimes these manager have ended up in these jobs due to a string of fortunate events and really have no clue what they're doing at all.
