More to this than you may think. I'd be worried if I supported Manure.

Mate after last night I'm gonna support someone who at least has a chance of winning the premier league in the next decade. Go on Burton Albion.

Hi mate! Keep the faith. i think how badly we finish depends now on who we sign and who get shot of!

We are still in all cup comps and have progressed in the CL so it aint ALL bad. Hopefully we can progress against stoke too in the League cup as that may well be the only realistic chance of silverware

When Moyes took over I said Id be happy CL football. He needs time and Ill stick to that but its a kick in the balls with every game. I really thought Fellani would have done better again a team he knew

The tide will turn, I'm sure of that, but I think the issue is we are not performing well enough for what we have, and should be higher in the PL, but, as we all know things in football change quickly, and as a MU supporter, have to keep the faith, crack on and do the best we can.

You always love your team, and that's why it's so hard to take underachievement and lack of passion from the players, football is what it is for precisely this reason, come on UTD, :D :D :D

I always thought Moyes was an ok, if unspectacular manager, how wrong was i!? He's ****ing amazing! Keep up the good work Davey boy!

Ps Liam, Utd will do nothing in the CL this year. Fair play for getting out of the group, but they, and all English teams, are so far behind the best European sides they could get a real hiding if they aren't careful.

What a day for the Gunners. Could this be the year?
Today is a real test.

Arsenal for the title
Liverpool close runners up
Southampton and Everton in the CL

What a great season that would be. ( I know it finish like that though)

I still think Man City will be in one of those 2 top spots. Liverpool- no. And Southampton will be nowhere near. 2 of Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Man Utd and Everton for 3rd and 4th.

5 clear!
I'd have been well happy with that at the start of the weekend.
How far have the Toffee men come? Very structured, balanced side.

This season is shaping up to be one of the most open in quite a while. Now as much as I'm enjoying Man U's current ineptitude, they've got to come right eventually (bloody funny seeing teams score against them after 80 odd or 90 minutes though - how things turn  ).

Yep a taste of our own medicine :!:

Got to turn it around, but there needs to be a midfield spend ASAP

Carrick gets a bad wrap, but we have missed his presence in the last couple of games, obviously miss Rooney when he doesn't play, but utd teams of the past have been able to grind out results by not playing well, that's the edge we have lost.
Keep the faith and hope that we buy in midfield in Jan and crack on for a creditable finish,
Irrespective of which them you follow, the teams in the top positions are there on pure merit, consistency of results, Arsenal of the past have always had a tendency for the wheels to fall off, but this season they look to have it sorted, and deserve the plaudits they are receiving, the same goes for the Scousers, hats of to them for the consistency and results, there on merit.

Great season for the neutrals and exciting prospects to come

Having said all of that...utd need to come back with some credibility and push on

We can only wit and see

Definitely a great season for the neutral.
I agree Utd must come good soon. But if i was a utd fan i'd be worried by the rumours that Moyes is only after one player in Jan.....leighton Baines!
Great LB, but he's late 20's (28 i think) will cost you 20+ million and he's not gonna help fill that glaring hole in your midfield!

Utd will not come good soon without selling half their squad and buying 8 players. RvP won the league last season.

David deGea - better this season but is risky
Raphael - shows glimpses but needs to work on positioning
Small ing and Jones - average players who may come good
Ferdinand and Vidic - shadows of their former selves
Evra - as above
Nani - has one good game in 10
Young - make that 1 in 25
Giggs - desperation he's still playing
Cleverly - the shittest player in the PL
Valencia - 1 in 20
Rooney - doesn't want to play for Man U. Will go when a deal suits
RvP - wants to leave. 1 injury and he's done in.
Chiqarita - scores super sub goals now and again. Can't start
Well beck - not a CL quality player
Fellaini - woeful start.

Agree on the most part accept on Giggs certainly not desperate judging by his performance against Leverkusen RVP and Rooney and DeGea. A much improved keeper now!

David deGea - REPLACE
Raphael - Keep but 2nd right-back badly needed.
Smalling and Jones - Neither are 1st teasers. If i were a Utd fan i wouldn't mind seeing both leave.
Ferdinand and Vidic - Keep both but back-up badly needed.
Evans - Sub par. Wouldn't see a minute of game time in any other team in the top 6 or 7. Z
Evra - Keep but back up[ badly needed.
Nani - GET RID!!!!
Young - GET RID!!!!
Giggs - Should be his last season.
Cleverly - Awful. GET RID!!
Valencia - Dury out. Keep but another right mid player needed.
Rooney - Brilliant obviously.
RvP - One of the best in the world.
Chiqarita - Who?
Welbeck - Absolute toilet. GET RID!! Then he'll stop getting picked for England which is vital for our WC hopes!
Fellaini - Good enough squad player. Needs more time.
Januzaj - Jury out. The morons in the press went berserk after he scored 2 goals but he's done nothing seance. Needs more time but looks only half decent. Wouldn't get in any other side in the top 6.
Carrick - A vital part of the reason Utd won the league. Despite his lack of flare he does a job well.
Kagawa - Jury out. Needs more game time. In and out the team despite looking like the best midfielder every time he plays.
Zaha - Madness that he hasn't at least been given a go. He's clearly very talented and when you see players like Cleverly picked week in week out it really makes you wonder. If you're not gonna play him get him out on loan so he can improve. And he will!

David deGea - Not the best, not the worst. Not a huge abundance of solid keepers around ATM, and there are more pressing areas of concern in UTD's squad. Keep for the moment, but in a fantasy world you trade up.
Raphael - Agree with Pete.
Smalling and Jones - Jones has been getting good reviews from what I've heard. Smalling not so much. Same as De Gea really, keep unless Bill Gates buys Utd!
Ferdinand and Vidic - Age has caught up with both. You may get a year or 2 more, but they should be phased out slowly, whilst passing on their experience to a younger CB (which is probably what Fergy wanted them to do with Jones+Smalling but it clearly aint happening)
Evans - He plays for Norn Iron, how can he be bad!?
Evra - Been solid enough this year but last 2 seasons have been mediocre. If you find a better+younger LB ie not Baines, then ditch, otherwise he has a few years yet.
Nani - All the skill in the world and as much use as a condom on a porn set.
Young - Cheating, diving wee ball bag! Has never looked a Utd standard player to me.
Giggs - Amazing player, despicable human-being. Does no harm keeping him in the squad but one game a week must be his absolute limit now.
Cleverly - Symptomatic of Utd's regression. Solid but unspectacular. You won't win anything (meaningful) with him in the team.
Valencia - Harmless enough squad player
Rooney - The very definition of a form player. When he's hot, he is almost unplayable. When he's not, he is as good as useless. I would also question his loyalty to Utd, but then who in football these days has any loyalty!?
RvP - As Pete said "One of the best in the world".........when fit!
Chiqarita - The new Solskjaer, albeit he isn't happy as a super-sub.
Welbeck - The new Heskey! A forward who doesn't score.
Fellaini - Thirty Five million Pounds! And people laughed (rightly) as Liverpool paying that for Andy Carroll.
Januzaj - Too soon to comment, nothing to be gained by selling mind.
Carrick - Agree with Pete, but if you want to challenge for the CL you'll need better. Remember what Barca did to him.......twice!
Kagawa - Summed up well... "Needs more game time"
Zaha - Agree with Pete

Best laugh I've had in ages! England's world cup hopes!
Northern Ireland have as much chance of winning it!

Hang on, i never said our "hopes" were winning it. Our "hopes" are to put in a decent showing and possibly maybe get out of the group with a little luck. Welbeck will assure we have a worse chance of doing that.
