You ready for some Ten Hag ball @lejackal 😂 Arsenal getting smacked up today. 😂😂
For our 'goal' the foul was the type of contact refs were told to ignore at the start of the season. Fair play on the win, reminiscent of the Wenger days in many respects, we were the better team but paid ultimately for falling into the trap.
How McTwat gets away with assault every game is beyond me. Arteta shouldn't have gone all out with three subs when he did as it unbalanced the team and gave you the initiative when actually we were excerpting a good amount of control.

To be honest @lejackal I was completely joking with the pre match post and just thought it was a good bit of banter. Ten Hag doesn't want to play like we did today, he's just doing the best with the players he has, so it's no where near Ten Hag ball. Arsenal were unlucky IMO they pretty much had the best of the ball for 60 minutes, Jesus is a number 9 who is being asked to be a number 8, 9 and 10, probably MOTM on another day. I have to say it was a foul, Erickson has complete control of the ball and is knocked down without the Arsenal lad touching the ball from behind, that's a foul. It completely got us off the hook for what was a good goal otherwise. Arsenal basically left Rashford 1 on 1 twice which is pub football defending and pretty much the only way Rashford will score.

Top 4 is looking possible for Man Utd, I'm just happy we have a proper coach who is forward thinking and obsessed with winning.

Yeah it was a good game and agree it was a foul, you can't push someone over without getting the ball. This is why the table is meaningless so early, two weeks ago United were rock bottom with everyone panicking about relegation, then after three wins you're suddenly top four contenders again. Exactly the same happened to Arsenal last season. Although I'll be very surprised if Brendan can turn Leicester around.

Only two unbeaten teams now, but they play each other this weekend so there will only be one left.

Yes if Spurs win against City that will make things interesting. I still think City, Liverpool and Spurs are the top 3 favourites.

So how is this from Tielemans in the build up to a Leicester goal not a foul then? The way the game is being officiated is bollocks

Yep looks like a foul too, arguably more of a shoulder barge rather than pushing from behind like the Eriksen one.

It's the inconsistency that pisses you off. Like I said when talking about Haaland's high foot earlier in the season. Mane and Greaseman (spelling) both got red's for the same thing. Haaland isn't even booked.

I do agree with Edd though, Teileman's one does look like a shoulder barge to me. I haven't seen the disallowed Arsenal goal.

Anyone have Touchel to be sacked early doors?

Seems a strange call by Chelsea. Yes, they have spent 300m, but the season is 6 games old and he needs time to integrate 4 or 5 new players. Especially as they effectively have a new back line.

Yeah I didn't see that one coming, I suppose you could say the writing was on the wall. But like you say the money they have spent backing him, to only give him 6 games, seems harsh. Klopp will be next. 😉😂

I guess he may be suffering from the change of ownership, ie he's not their man. Stupid time to do it though as presumably the players they spunked 250-300 million on where agreed with him

Potchetino next up then? And Tuchel to go to Everton/Leicester? The managerial merry-go-round starts here 😂

Poch would be the obvious choice but the new owner may have his own idea. Look at Moshri at Everton, he chases some very random managers (marco silva and Rafa).

Not sure Touchel would go to Everton or Leicester. I suspect he may want a bigger CL level job. Sevilla are **** ATM if that continues and they sack their manager he may end up there. Or Italy. He won't go back to Germany, unless Bayern sack whatshisface, and not one else in England is looking like sacking their manager ATM.

Looks like Chelsea are talking to Graham Potter, great coach was hoping he would be the next England coach. Not sure he's the right fit for Chelsea. These new owners seem to be running a bit of a circus at Stamford Bridge.

He doesn't have the profile to attract big names yet.
I'm putting an emphasis on yet as he could build that reputation in Fulham and now that the club have potentially leaned on Tuchels reputation to get the summer business done, including Aubamayang (who had his most productive period under TT at Dortmund) the sacking starts to make a bit more sense. Get the big signings done and then get your own man in. A bit of a stretch perhaps but not much else makes sense

Looks like the Board felt Tuchel was too much hard work. I have seen a lot of journalists say when they ask his old clubs
/staff/players about him they are always told "great coach, but…."

Potter is good manager and has done well at Brighton. He may well work out at Chelsea. He needs time though and that is not something Chlesea have historically given their managers. Maybe the new guy will be different.

On another note, I'm afraid won't be on much for the rest of the season. I have just signed a 6 month deal to go and play for Liverpool. Even aged 43 with hamstrings that were destroyed 10yrs ago both Jurgen and I agreed that I would be more use than most of that team from last night. ******* school boy is a compliment. Joe Gomez looked like he had never played first team football before. In fact he looked like he had never played football before. TAA was only marginally less ****. Milner one step above him. It's NOT an exaggeration to say that could, arguably SHOULD, have been 5 or 6 at half time.

I dunno what has happened to that team, from out playing City in the Charity Shield (yes, it's a glorified friendly) to being appalling in all but one game this season. That's a HUGE drop off. It's not one thing that causes it. Injuries don't help, but they aren't the sole reason. Not is Mane going as some people are suggesting. The problems run much deeper. Where the **** they have come from I do not know. But I'll be trying my best to sort them out against Wolves on Saturday. At the minute I'm playing, right back…….right sided CB, left sided CB, left back, DCM, right sided midfield and all three attacking positions at the same time. It should be fun!
I can't be any worse than the muppets who played last night.

I think with Liverpool it's a combination of factors like you point out, I hope they give Klopp time to get them out of this dip, he's one of the best coaches in the world and just needs a season to reset IMO. I still
think Liverpool will have a good season anyway, they have to good of a coach and quality players.

I'm beginning to think this season is going to be like 2020-21 for the Pool. The one where they had no CB's from October. They will do well to make CL and then they can try to fix whatever it is over the summer.
The midfield is an obvious area, but the forwards are offering nothing and the back four are being exposed and defending like school boys.
Partly it is just a dip in form, all players have them and things always look worse when 3/4/5/6 players hit a bad patch at the same time. Confidence, or lack there of (caused by the dip in form) also exacerbates the problems. Buck in a load of injuries, a new striker learning the system/league, the loss of Mane and a little bad luck (that Rashford goal looked to be a tight as they come for offside, though my feed was *****). Reagrdless, they are in a rut ATM and I don't see how the snap out of it.

An example of how bad the starting 11 were last night. Thiago played 28 minutes last night. He made 6 tackles in that time. Which was more than the starting midfield three and both full back combined........over 90 minutes

Yeah Tuchel's sacking was a massive surprise, but he has always seemed like a bit of a **** (perfect fit for Chelsea!) I think Potter would be mad to go there personally, but looks like its a done deal as he apparently didn't lead training at Brighton today. He MIGHT pull it out of the bag, far more likely he'll be fired after 3 months because they're not top of the league.

Liverpool's drop in form is weird, VVD seems to be a big part of it, he was the missing piece when he joined Liverpool but he's been crap this season in all but one game (the one game I subbed him out of my Fantasy team, obviously.)

No footie this weekend due to the Queen's passing. Not complaining to be honest, not having to play City is never a bad thing!

I mean agents have taken the piss for years but this is ridiculous

Like wise, I'm glad Pool don't get another chance to show us all how NOT to play football. Rumours of Chelsea Pool being off next week cos some auld doll is getting buried and all the rozzers will be off policing that. Again, happy to pass up being the victims of the 'new manager bounce' at Chelsea.

Can we just void the season now!? Lol

Come on ..let's have some decorum

"cos some auld doll is getting buried"-hopefully Weasel yo are joking… I'm sure you are mate and I don't want to come across as condescending ….I'm a Utd fan and your a scouser fan but this loss even brings us together! To me that says everything if it can transcend that for me !

it doesnt matter your stance on the monarchy…but the Queen was actually an example to us all, to really be the best that we can be…with the family she had and all this country actually stands for she did an amazing job and we will never ever see the likes of her again ….I am so saddened that our country and what we believe ourselves to be has lost its figurehead and role model…for me and my family this is a very sombre time, a time where we should take a moment to reflect on all the positivity we had from an amazing monarch that in the main was taken for granted… she personified the great BRITISH spirit of " let's get on with it"

sad loss for us all

I think the only fair way to decide who wins the title is to give it to the team with the biggest win so far this season.

And relegation should be decided on which cities have too many teams already in the league. Liverpool and Manchester don't need two each, so relegated the weaker side from each, and London has too many so relegate. Chelsea for being the unfortunate team pulled out of a hat totally at random, honest.

Sorry mate I missed that totally. I only saw the Franky Howard picture.

YES, I was joking. We all know whose funeral I was taking about. I was attempting to be funny by implying people may not know who she was/who had died, rather than belittling the fact she was dead.

I'm not a royalist by any stretch, but I did respect what the Queen did and the fact she did it for 70 odd years. She is/will be a great loss. I wasn't trying to belittle that fact, I would never revel in anyone's death regardless who they are. Even the worst of the worst, and the Queen was the opposite end of the spectrum than them.

Sorry if you thought I was making fun if her death, tone and intonation are hard to do on a written forum. I'm a ******, but I'm not THAT much of a ******.
