If it’s any consolation my u12s got hammered and played like shite, so I spent all day pissed off and questioning my abilities as a coach

And then they go and get fisted by PSV.
Lost consecutive home games, to Forest and PSV, by a combined score of 1-7.
Worst run since the 1950’s.

I THINK I’ll give the game this weekend a pass. I’ll maybe ask the wife to tell me some of her ultra interesting work stories for two hours instead. That’ll be much more fun

I guess I asked for that 2-0 down after 10 minutes at home to Fulham, unthinkable a couple of seasons ago but as hard a pill it is to swallow, I don't see much quality in our squad at the moment. While I'll always think the Kane/Son/Dembele/Bale/Vertongen etc team spectacularly underachieved, I can't help but admit that the bottom half of the table is about right with the current squad. It's going to take some getting used to, and is not much fun to watch! I quite like Frank as a manager but it looks like a complete rebuild at this point. Not looking forward to Newcastle away tomorrow, what was it last season, 6-0 down after 25 minutes

I was going to say “Not even Spurs could do that twice” but then I caught myself on!

Saying that, if anyone is capable of winning 6-0 as easily as losing 6-0, it’s Spurs.
