Made me laugh Phil Jones trying to blame the system! Er system wasn't a problem against Arsenal when the players were trying. Amorim should have been able to stay at home and Utd should still win.

Ohh and Newcastle actually agree terms on a striker. After Delap, Pedro, Ekitike, Sisco, Wissa, Strand Larsen and **** knows who else, told them to **** off, they have actually agreed terms with Stuttgart for some boy I have never heard of. From what I have seen on twitter he is about 7 foot tall so he should suit their 'hoof it long every time' style.

Fingers crossed it goes through cos I'm sick of hearing about the Isak thing.

Trent leaves after seeing out his contract and Liverpool fans pillory him.

Newcastle won't sell Isaac (on liverpools terms) and Liverpool fans applaud him for going on strike.

Fans eh, what can you do

Not sure. I havent seen a single Pool fan applaud what Isak is doing. Say you want to leave, by all means, but don't be a **** and go on strike. You have a contract, honour it. If he does it to Newcastle, what's to stop him doing it to Pool in 2 years? Most Pool fans I know think the same.

Ps, Trent only told Liverpool he was leaving about a month before the end of the season. Yet he managed to learn fluent Spanish (including the Madrid 'dialect' whatever the **** that is) in time for his unveiling. He took questions in Spanish without a translator (apparently, I didn't watch the press conference for obvious reasons).

Newcastle get a possible world record fee for Isak, a boy they signed 3 yrs ago. Pool only got 8m for Trent cos Real wanted him to play in the CWC, and he came through Pool's youth ranks and is a local lad.

The two situations are similar, granted. But they aren't the same. And, yes, most football fans are raging hypocrites

Mourinho gone from Fenerbahce, how long before he's in at Forest or West Ham

I don't understand how football has ended up as the only profession in the world where workers can do whataver they like with no consequences. Why can you not sack players? dock their wages? Terminate their contracts if they refuse to play? Meanwhile, managers get sacked for losing three games. It's utter madness.

It's the value of the asset I guess. You can each the tea lady with no consequences financially to the club, sack Isak and they lose whatever he cost plus the profit of selling him for 120-150 million

I think he will be, BUT they will be fining him whatever the maximum amount allowed in his contract is. I would assume it's 1 or 2 weeks wages. So, in theory, he could be losing money by being a dick.
Albeit, it's football, the club signing him will just add that on to his signing on fee. Which is something else I don't get, why get paid a reward for signing for a club? I guess it's similar to a "golden hello" in the business world but they are the preserve of the CEO class and mainly to compensate for lost stock options. "Thanks for letting us pay you 5million a year for kicking a ball round a pitch, here have another few million for FA,"

I see poor Anthony wants a pay off from Utd to leave cos Betis cant afford to pay him what he wants. Poor fella. I'm sure he didnt know that before Utd accepted Betis's fairly low bid (for a steaming pile of *****) yesterday. He certainly can't have ever discussed personal terms with them in the 6 months he was there, or the 2 months over the summer where he rejected any offer that wasnt from them. There's no way at all he would have known they couldnt pay 200kpw, no one in the dressing room would have mentioned that and no fan of football would have any way of knowing that at all. I mean I was amazed that a run of the mill Spanish side couldn't pay as much as one of the PL's big six.

Total bolt from the blue. The poor soul. He has his heart set on a move to Betis and only NOW does he discover he'll have to take a pay cut and ONLY get 100-200 times an average annual UK salary (and probably a couple of thousand times an average salary in Brazil). He definitely deserves that pay off. No way should HE be forced to suffer cos HE refused all other moves and cos HE stunk the place out at OT for two years.

Pay up Utd you bastards!

Nice to see VAR finding a reason to disallow a perfectly good goal in the Chelsea Fulham game.
Three games in and that's three opposition goals chalked off in Chelsea games.

Ohhh and Arsenal to win tomorrow

Eeh, more Arsenal have a settled side, much more so that Pool. They have looked better/less rusty than Pool, and they are definitely due a win at Anfield.

Of the three possible outcomes, a Pool win looks the least likely to me. A draw wouldn't surprise me, but I'd have Arsenal to win as the most likely.

Apparently I am baby sitting today while the wife goes out, so I wont get to see the same.

Pretty frustrated with that, although we didn't do enough to deserve the win, and if you don't convert shots you leave yourself open to getting punished. Bloody good free kick though

🤣🤣🤣

My late mate will be turning in his grave seeing how bad Man U have been playing miss you mate

Amazed by ETH getting sacked. They sold 5 or 6 of their best players this summer. WTF did the Board expect?
Something must have gone massively wrong behind the scenes.

Some transfer window that. It's just closed and we still dont know if Pool have sign Guehi.

Souds got some good players in the door @edd_jedi

I was baby sitting yesterday so I missed the game. I have seen the free kick though. Some dig!

Thank god it's the International break, I was getting bored of having proper football back on tv. Now we get to sit and stare at the walls for two weeks while a load of meaningless Intermational games are shoehorned into the season. (Insert bloke from the Fast Show saying "Brilliant")

The trouble is you never know if the grass will actually be greener, the new chairman could sod off all of the concerts and spend a billion pounds on Mbappe, what happens if we finish 17th again? Time will tell 😬 I don't really like change in general :D and why three games into the season!?
