Sorry to bang on about Spurs as usual but 3-0 down in the first half hour, seriously? Somebody isn't learning blindingly obvious lessons here. Good comeback but they don't have a hope in hell of success at this rate.

Another shameful result. Not good enough. We need a whole new defence next year. I don't see one player worth keeping in our current back 4. Worse defence in the league without a doubt.
Altho i did win £70 on betting they'd score the equaliser. 8)

In the order they were played.

Spuds - HOW do you go three down to WBA? They are a poor side. Letting them score one I could understand, maybe two, but not two in the first four minutes, and then another one after that. Sherwood really mustn't have a clue about defending. Or should that be "management"?

Arsenal - Yeap, made bloody hard work of that. Fair play had they lost I wouldn't have given you odds on them making the top four, they would have collapsed and Wenger would have been under massive pressure to go. Fair play to Wigan they gave it dam good go and on another day could have won it. Would like to see them back in PL, another side who try to play football. Not like Fat Sam and his hoof ball shite.

Pool V's City - **** me, what a game! Ok, I'm slightly biased but that is one of the best games I've seen this season, and I include ALL of Utd's hammerings in that lol.
I still expect Pool to **** it up somehow. Hope to god Mourinho and that wanker Terry aren't the ones celebrating if Pool do bin it.
Thought Suarez could easily have gone yesterday. Minimal contact when he rolled about the ground like he'd been shot. I think the fact there was the slightest of contacts allowed the ref the 'out' to avoid sending him off. Had he not already been booked he would have seen yellow for that. He spent far too long lying on the ground rolling about like a kid for my liking. Sakho's tackle on Dzeko could well have been a penalty too. I think the fact the ref was in a bad position to see it saved him but, WTF he was thinking putting in a tackle like that when there was no danger I'll never know.
The Kompany/Suarez coming together wasn't a penalty. A little contact possibly, but not enough for a penalty.
On the other hand Skertl's hand/elbow clearance at the end was a definite penalty. Though as no City players appealed and the ref, linesman, commentators and studio gimps all missed it, I guess we can cut the ref a bit of slack. It did look like a header on first viewing.
Henderson's red was fair enough. You can't complain about a red for a tackle like that. He'll be a big loss over the next three games.

Liverpool were incredibly lucky yesterday. The amount of things they got away with was shocking. The ref straight up bottled it when he should have sent Suarez off. I'm not having that "minimal contact" bull that the really, totally unbiased panel  on MOTD were spouting. That was a dive and it was blatant. Arguably one of the worst we've seen this season. He should have gone, plain and simple. And the Skrtle! How the **** did he get away with that?!! Jesus. When luck is with you like that you must star to believe it's your year.
Don't get me wrong tho, i'm glad Liverpool won. City are a sham team and Chelsea aren't much different plus Mourinho is an utter tool. I'm not one of the herd who buys into his nonsense. He's a nob.
Liverpool are the only "proper" team in the running. They built a team the way you're supposed to. Play football the way you're supposed to, have a british manager and a spine of english (british? where's Flanahanagahanana from?) players who are showing the rest of the top 4 how it's done (are you watching City?). The fact that City leave Milner on the bench game after game, despite him being leagues better than Lord Jesus of Navas, alone makes me want them to fail. It pisses me off. When they finally put him on he changes the game and turns City into a team that should actually have won the game. And yet he'll be on the bench again for the next game, no doubt. Idiots.
I personally would rather see Gerard (at the club his entire career), Sterling (joined when he was 15), Daniel Sturridge (Deemed not good enough and discarded by Chelsea and Man City), Glen Johnson, Skrtle and so on to lift the title than ****ing Fernandinho, Lord Jesus of Navas, Dimichelis and Javi Gar-****ing-cia. Who?? **** off. In it for the money from top to bottom.
So to sum up - **** City. **** Clesea. Come on Liverpool! :D
Oh and pleeeeeeaaaaase let Everton beat Arsenal to 4th. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaase. (misery loves company  )

totally agree with the above, stevie deserves this title, and we have to give credit to brendan rogers, i mean what a turn around, especially when his initial signings of borini, allen and aspas were laughed away.

i'm pre booking my trip to liverpool for the parade lol

Nice one :) It did make me laugh that on MOTD the pundits kept banging on about Erikkson's poor defending. Why the **** should Erikkson be defending? He's about the only goal scorer we have  how about Danny Rose stops juust watching what happens in the penalty box, he seems to think he's a centre forward. Agree, the whole lot need to go.

My opinion of Suarez hasn't changed I'm afraid, for all the talent he's still a horrible, cheating little man. I wouldn't feel comfortable knowing he has single-handedly won the title for my team. But I would like to see Liverpool win now for old time's sake.

Agree about wanting Everton to get 4th - purely because of all the "Channel 5 cup" I've had from Arsenal fans for the last few years. Welcome to the little league where you belong

Pete, Did you not know they changed the rules, Skertl is allowed to use his hands and to rugby tackle ppl at corners.

Arsenal were very fortunate. However, I think they have enough quality and will impose enough fear, even if it's not deserved anymore, on the other teams. Bruce will play defensive in the final and hit on the break.
I agree Liverpool will mess it up. City and Chelsea still favourites IMO. Surprised Liverpool didn't get their customary penalty, or 3, in the last match. Saying that though it was a good game and for Liverpool to have beaten all of the top 7 they've played at home says a lot. Although Suarez should have gone. Cheating bastard.

Yet more Suarez hate here. Less of a cheat than Bale (and a better player too!) Haters keep on hating! :D

Just about deserved the win on Sunday - fantastic atmosphere. Still nervous as ****, know that Norwich and Chelsea will definitely park the bus when we play them.

Come on redmen!

Not a great night to be an Everton fan - tossed away a chance for Champs League and seen Liverpool get closer to winning the title !

Tbh I don't think any Everton fan thought they'd get 4th. I've a mate who is Everton daft and he was adamant they'd blow it in the stupidest way possible.

Would not have predicted either of those score lines tonight!

Seconded.

Means Chelsea win the league if they win all 4 games left. Hopefully now we won't see Mourinho turning up and parking the bus at Anfield. Although knowing him it'll still be Matic and Mikel in the middle with Lampard and Ramirez out wide and Hazard/Oscar behind a lone striker and they'll play for 0-0 at HT and try and bore Liverpool into making a mistake and sneak a 1-0. Mourinho may be a successful manager, but his teams are bloody dull to watch. Ohh and he's a ****ing prick!

Hate cheating diving bastards:-

Suarez, Gerrard, Bale, Walcott, Wilshere, Drogba, any Spaniard the list goes on and on

You missed out Ashley Young

And Wayne Rooney! What was it he said about that (non) dive against Bayern he was anticipating contact, so therefore it's not a dive! Riiiiitte!

Ohh yeah, and you missed Klinsmann as well. The guy with the dive goal celebration! It was a great celebration.
