Great result for United tonight! Proud of the lads they played for the shirt and with passion!
Delighted to still be in the tie TBH

weasel said:On another note, WTF is going on at Arsenal? I know they normally choke at this stage in the season, but even by their standards this is bad. That result makes Everton the clear favourites for fourth place now.

weasel said:Edd.......did you actually watch the game? WH played "very well"? WTF!?![]()
I mean, seriously WTF!?
They played a horrible horrible brand of brutal GBH football and even at that they barely had a chance in the second half, it was all Pool.
Carroll hit the bar aye, but so did Suarez..........twice!
Mingolet wasn't exactly over worked in the Pool goal. As for "gifted two penalties" the second one was soft, no arguments there, but **** me, the first one is as stone wall as they come! There's not even any case you can make for it being a gift.

That's right, your Goalkeeper is worth more than Gareth Bale and Christiano Ronaldo!
Divide that number by FIVE and you're in the right ball park! He's a ****ing keeper not jesus!

I should have explained better - I am not saying West Ham should have won, what I mean is they played exactly the kind of football a mid-table team should against the top team - as you said yourself, tough, brutal football. That's what Spurs and Arsenal should have done against 'pool, there's nothing wrong with a point sometimes, but there's a lot wrong with conceding 5 goals!
And IMO refs should use a bit of discretion with penalties. As I said above we all know 50% of penalty decisions are pure guesswork anyway because they refuse to use video replays, so with that in mind I think it is very harsh for any ref to award two penalties to one team in a single game, that is pretty much game over.
