The shirt pull alone and I'd say they get away with it, the holding his arm down was what did it imo. And yes, full acknowledgment that Arsenal grapple, but so does everyone 🤷‍♂️
There are actually about five fouls going on. If you watch the video Fornels (Pablo) is grappling with…some Arsenal player. I dunno who initiates the contact but I have seen fouls given for less (for/against both players). Whoever the Arsenal boy is, he is stood in such a way that it's bloody hard for Fornels to get his arm down, albeit I'm not sure if he wants to!
Behind that Rice is rugby tackling someone, and two other players are grappling/hugging/fouling the **** out of each other. Again, I dunno who initiates the contact but there are fouls being committed.
This isn't an Arsenal dig, all sides do it but they are the worst, but **** me it's dull watching wrestling at every corner and set piece. This will go down as one of the poorest PL seasons to watch in terms of entertaining football.

Goals are down on previous seasons, that's a fact.

Regarding the grappling I couldn't agree more - pretty sure I said as much a few pages back.

Arsenal were denied a goal a season or two ago because Ben White had hold of the keeper, so we have been on the other (also correct) side of this debate.

Hopefully we now have one hand on the trophy

You see @Cazza you can always count on Spurs for a favour 🙄 dear me, Richarlison missed a couple of tap ins, our front three are awful. And while it's obviously stupid to try a bicycle kick in your own penalty area, is it not equally daft to willingly run into one!? Not convinced that was a penalty, and if it was it's as cynical as anything Harry Kane was ever accused of.

Looks like it's going down to the final day then, Spurs haven't beaten Chelsea since about 1876.

Yep, we're still very much alive. Where did the crazy added time all come from?! Think it has to be a pen really- just a dangerous action. Your goal was great, but you still look fragile.

Thought Leeds gave it a real good go- will be a tricky last game for us. Chelsea are truly shocking. Will be close...

I only saw the last five mins, plus ET, and have seen Richarlison's miss and the pen. WHAT THE **** would posses any football to think that an overhead kick was a good way to clear the ball from your own box. For that stupidity alone he deserves to concede a pen. I do think it was a pen, Ampatu gets the balls first, then Tel boots him. From there on there is only one outcome.

As for Richarlison, is anyone surprised? We all laughed when Everton paid big money for him, and laughed again when Spurs paid them big money. He's just not very good….unless he's playing Liverpool.

Good to see that James Madison spent those 9 months he was injured in a productive way….by leaning how to fall over as soon as anyone comes within five feet of you. Richarlison taught him well.

@lejackal I'd say that's it done and dusted now. Burnley are ****, and Palace have their first ever European final a few days after they play you. Zero chance they play anything like their first team.

Ben White confirmed done for what's left of the season. Gary the **** Neville on commentary when he got injured was saying he should have been stronger there. ******

That's funny, he said the same thing every time Vicario was fouled, while other keepers are "brave" and get free kicks / goals disallowed

Anyone see the penalty Celtic got last night? 93rd minute and VAR tell the ref to go to the screen to give Celtic a pen to win the game and keep them in with a serious shot of winning the title.

Their next and last game is at home to Hearts who are top, had they drawn then they had to beat Hearts by three goals to win it on GD, now they just need to win.

Here's the incident.

Never ever ever a penalty. Apparently the ref made a clear and obvious error by not spotting the handball. I'm not sure it does hit his hand, the force it flies away with would suggest it hits his head. Is there enough evidence to REALLY say it hit his hand? Regardless, IF it hits his arm it's cos the Celtic boy jumps up after him and is tight to his left meaning he cant move his arm.

Does this mean if a forward grabs a defenders arms and pulls them over his head when a cross is coming in…it's a penalty?
Surely not, or Mikel Arteta would have been telling Arsenal to do it all season 🎣

Yes, absolute ********. It's been 40 years since Celtic or Rangers haven't won the Scottish title!

The Southampton situation is interesting too, apparently the play-off final is at risk of being postponed, I wonder what happens if they are disqualified?

If that hand is by his side it's on his head anyway, does nae matter. Absolute shambles

For some reason I thought Hearts had won one in the last 10 years. Apparently not

I've been following the Scottish premiership all season, Hearts have been top most of the season. Absolute shambles that penalty was. Celtic just have to win their last game at home after all that Hearts have done. No justice in football some times.

Will be supporting Hearts big time Saturday lunch time!

I think the football world will be supporting Hearts.

The last manager to w8n the SPL with a non big six side was some nobody called Ferguson with Aberdeen in the early 80's. Since then the old firm have won them all. Hearts last title was in the 60's I think.

As for Saints, daft is an understatement. I wonder was it one ******** acting on his own or did someone higher up suggest it.
Not sure I can see them being kicked out over it, imagine the legal **** storm, but then a fine hardly seems fair. Especially as it will go to thenFA and not Boro who were the ones shafted.

Apparently the footage was being streamed live back to someone at the club, so looks like the manager was probably involved. Also sounds like they did it multiple times to different teams, not just Middlesbrough.

They need to sack everyone involved and cross their fingers. At the end of the day, they've broken rules, so I could actually see them being kicked out.

Alex Ferguson is also the last manager to beat Real Madrid in a major European final @weasel you probably already know that, being his number one fan. lol

At lunch was listening to, two work mate both massive Man U fans. Got me thinking of my late mate who was a massive Man U fan. Later in town bumped into his mum had a nice catch up.

Just want to say toodaloo and it's been a blast in case I get banned for my other post. Hope I don't, but you never know.
