Ehhh if twitter is to be believed Ange's first suggestion for a signing for Spurs was……..Harry Maguire!

I don't care if he has JUST been announced, if I was Daniel Levy and he said that I would sack him on the spot.

Dafuq is Harry Maguire the solution to any club's problems? Let alone a club who have, as Edd has mentioned once or twice, defensive issues. Ie their back five are ******* *****.

Putting Harry Maguire in there will have Spurs in the Championship.

If Spurs want Maquire, they need to move fast that's all I can say. He's our best centre back and there is a long queue for him. Also a great captain, if anyone at Spurs is reading this, I will personally drive you up to Manchester tomorrow to get the deal done. We don't want City or Liverpool snapping him up.

In the unlikely event the rumour is true, I suspect the stumbling block will be wages and if he feels Spurs are good enough. Given he apparently thinks he's world class and CL level.

Thought it was a definite pen- pushed the ball away from Bowen. We didn't play well, but Fiorentina weren't great, either. The shithousery and reffing was dreadful in the first half. Embarrassing. Reckon someone must've spoken to the ref at half time, because he seemed better in the second, although where on earth did all that extra time come from?! Still, it didn't make a difference in the end! COYI!!!!

Ps- was so worried those idiot fans were going to derail the whole thing, but thankfully they stopped after the players went over.

Yeah it looked like the game was about the be abandoned for a minute, what were they thinking? Surely it must be so easy to identify and ban them.

Well done hammers, nice to see an English side not fall at the last hurdle, I was convinced it was going to go to penalties after 85 minutes.

He's running at full tilt and knows FA about it hitting his hand. Under the current rules that is a pen, no arguments, but the current handball rule is a joke. If that's in the middle of the pitch no one bats an eyelid at it.

Anyway, fair ***** to WH nice to see someone else win a European trophy.
I even watched the post match celebrations for once. Normally I just turn it off at the FT whistle cos I don't want to see Utd/Chelsea or Real celebrating. I'll do the same if/when City win on Sat. Given their FFP cheating I have no desire to see them celebrate a trophy they won by cheating.

i think he's about 30 now too so his transfer value will stop to drop regardless.


I suspect if Real offer 100m Levy takes it. Which is probably the sensible decision. But it puts a lot of pressure on an unproven (in PL terms) manager to galvanised a team AND replace their best player/main goal scorer.

Only just seen this. Yeah what a night, what a result! Massive for the club. Chuffed for them, and for Moyesey. Hammers are buzzing all over Essex and East London. Not the greatest game I'll agree. Although they had a lot of possession they didn't really trouble our defence and Areola was great. Penalty was unfortunate for the Fiorentina player but he has to give it. The ball came off Bowens' chest and he pushed it away and changed its direction with his hand, it's a penalty. Benny done the business. Then when Bowen scored, what a glorious moment! I was leaping around the lounge like a lunatic, Rach telling me to shut up cos I'll wake the kids I've been going up West Ham since the Trevor Brooking days and it's one of the best nights ever that I remember. @Cazza Yes we bloody well did do it matey

Now admittedly I didn't watch too many West Ham games this season, but can anyone explain to me why Declan Rice is apparently worth £100m? Everyone says Son had a terrible season (which is true compared to the previous few) but in less games he scored more than twice as many goals, and three times as many assists. And everyone laughs at Levy wanting 100m for Kane. So how is Rice worth anywhere near what they are?
