Awesome TV shows

I remember watching TP in the 70 s as a kid and enjoying it, so maybe this could be good :?:

Concept was good so lets see :D

Down sick at the moment so burning through TV and films.
Just watched a few TV shows start to finish in the last few days. A couple of BBC run of the mill things, Death in Paridise and Johnathan Creek - harmless watches that don't leave much of a mark, but have watched a few others that surprised me.

37 days to war - 3 part BBC drama covering the lead up to WW1, really good watch, historically accurate and oddly compelling, if you have a spare couple of hours this is good educational entertainment.

Flemming - 4 part Sky Atlantic fictionalisation on Ian Flemmings time in Naval Intellegence. Very well written and acted, worth 4 hours of your life

Alpha House - the Amazon prime US political comedy. Veep may be more mainstream and House of Cards takes the plaudits but this offering is well worth a watch, John Goodman is outstanding and the cast is very well put together, 11 half hour episodes of US political stupidity that is adictive and engaging.

Ive just started watching Dexter, pretty good, im only on series 3, i like the idea of a vigilante killing off Pedo's, murderers and freaks lol

Another day off sick and another TV show down.

Watched Vikings on amazon, great stuff, maybe not the most original show but engrossing stuff and very well made with a lot of attention to detail for that time period. Recommend this one.

BTW...get well soon buddy

Blacklist
James spader is awesome in a ridiculous 'monster of the week' fbi drama. The underlying story arc however keeps the show moving. Spaders international fugutive Reddington hands himself into the fbi to make a deal so he can help kill the people who most threaten him. He demands a specific young profiler assist him, but why...
8 out of 10

Almost human. Karl urban with robot buddy cop scifi show. Another monster of the week show, some interesting casting choices, but overall the occasional mentions of the story arc with why urbans girlfriend betrayed him and led to his leg being blown off occasionally suggests a better show is waiting a second season. Mackensie crook is good, minka kelly is good to look at.
6.5 / 10

The following
Great cast, about a modern day cult. Painfully stretched out over a dozen + episodes. Amazed a second season was granted, although 8 eps would have sufficed and been good. kevin bacon is quite good.
6/10

Sleepy hollow
Too many episodes, too many similar episodes. Stretched over months and months. The show is actually rather good, its amusing to see an 18th century man in todays world and they keep that gag running.
6/10 sometimes its a 7/10

Watched Hemlock Grove season 1. It wasn't bad. Famke Jannson is absolutely stunning for a 48 year old :D A gothic tale of werewolves and upir. 7/10

Watched The Following Season 2. Started off better than S1 but at episode 4 got just as bad and continued. You could just replace most episodes from S1 with these and you wouldn't know.
