Do you have a pet dog or cat?, lizard?, squirrel?, cockroach?, show him/her here.

Here's my dog J, getting bummed by my uncle's gay dog. tongue action and everything.

Bonus points for a xmas theme pic.

Here's my two, 'Polly & Tilly', we've had the border collie for 7 years now, I was never a fan of little 'toy' dogs and wasn't impressed when my step daughter brought the little one home. Since she was a few months old the little one has stuck to me like glue and now follows me everywhere I go and to be honest I'd be lost without her, my 'little mate' :D

Some great photos and stories!

We've a couple of rescue greyhounds - we've had Mandy (the brindle) for 2 1/2 years and Betsy for 9 months. Mandy's 12 1/2 and Betsy's 10 1/2, so we took them both on in their old age. They're great - absolutely no trouble at all; don't need much exercise, sleep most of the day, fantastic temperament,

Greyhounds get a pretty **** deal; they're only good for racing up to about the age of 3, then they're 'no use'. Some trainers are great and keep them; others ensure they go into a rescue - some will even give a donation. Others dump them or even worse. I've heard some real horror stories - you wouldn't believe what some people are capable of doing to an animal. The GBGB (governing board for greyhound racing) are useless at regulating the 'sport' and do little to ensure the dogs are looked after when their career is over. They also do little to punish owners who've been found to be drugging their dogs.

Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox now :)

I think everyone gets the runt at least once in their life, my last one was a Jack Russell and he was a ****ing retard  he had serious mental issues and to make it worse he was jacked like a powerlifter you'd think he was on steds. Wasn't scared of **** either, won every dog scrap i'd ever seen him get into even against two Alsatians who **** themselves, even tried fighting a horse once lol. He spent his entire day trying to escape out of our house just so he could search for other dogs to fight, he'd come back 2 days later eyes hanging out of his head from tiredness and blood all over his face from fighting/eating other animals in the woods. He never showed any love or affection or anything either and we had him since he was a puppy, he was like the Charles Bronson of dogs, the word evil just doesn't do it.

Check them out all cosy :) such a shame how some people treat dogs, I can only get one sentence into reading a horror story in the paper and have to turn the page, it's just horrible what people do. My mates old neighbour years ago used to be a Greyhound trainer and had two of them quite old too, they apparently had a bit of a nervousness about them and can get quite anxious over silly little things, very nice dogs though!
