how long for Pardew do you reckon?

I'd say he's on borrowed time. But, it all depends on the clauses in his contract. He signed that stupid 8 year contract a year or two ago and Ashley probably wants to limit any pay off.

Which **** is that? Ramos isn't much better than Ronaldo. He's just slightly less arrogant. SLIGHTLY!

Really hard team/club to like Real. They are easily my least favourite non-British side. I'm dreading a final between them and Chelsea. I'll be forced to cheer for an earthquake!

Highly amusing for a Man U fan to be calling another player a ****!

Gutted for the result on Sunday, but I've been saying that is what the scruffy tramp would park the bus for ages. Nothing wrong with that but the time wasting from the first minute was annoying. Hopefully Athletico with have the **** whining tonight.

The league is Citeh's now.

Apparently Mourinho reckons Chelsea were the better side until the equaliser based on possession...........the man has a fantastic sense of irony!

Ah so your a Mackem?

How do you rate your chances of Survival. I think your beginning to make that 17th place your own!

Worried for Villa. they are desperate for a win at the weekend!

Villa are a woeful side. Benteke aside, is there ANYONE in that Villa squad that another PL side would want? I-belong-to-a-whore maybe, but the rest are no more than squad players.

I don't really understand what the Villa Board are trying to achieve. I know when Martin O'Neil was in charge and they had the chance to push on and really establish themselves in the upper echelons of the PL. They didn't as Randy Lerner didn't want to bank roll them. Fair enough. I'm sure he spends enough on that club as it is, and he probably realised with City and Chelsea's bottomless pit of money and Utd's marketing machine (read, worldwide army of glory hunting fans) added to Arsenal and Liverpool's size/fan base that they would be gambling a lot with a limited chance of genuine success. However, since then they have sold off a lot of their better players and replaced them with kids or journeymen. It almost looks like asset stripping. It's a genuine shame as I like Villa as a club, but the way they have run themselves in the last three or so years, they are heading for the Championship and fast.

Sad thing is, they aren't even the normal "two or three players" away from a decent side. They are ten players away from a decent side, that's two or three very successful transfer windows worth of work. They don't that time.

I had the pleasure of watching it!

3-0 up and it could, possibly should have been more. Sterling and Suarez both look rusty at the minute. Palace get one, deflected off Glen Johnson who didn't feel the need to close his man down, and it was as if someone flicked a switch. Liverpool started defending as if they were drunk. Not taking anything away from Palace, but for the first 78 mins they hadn't created much, for the last 10 they were creating chances at will.

I think Rodgers dropped a bollock bringing off Sterling. He was Pool's outlet, with his pace. Coutinho did OK when he came on, but I would have taken off one of the front two and added an extra man in midfield. I also would have bucked Agger on at 3-2 rather than Victor ****ing Moses (who missed a sitter to win it in stoppage time). Rodgers said Agger was warming up but once the third went in it was pointless bringing him on.

Sad way to finally bow out of the title race, but it was academic anyway. City will win their two home games and thus win the title. The only difference now is it will be by 2pts rather than on GD. It would have been nice to keep the race going for another week, but given Pool have a 14 man squad to still be involved in the penultimate week is a fantastic achievement. I'd have bitten your hand off for 4th in August so I'm not complaining at all with (what looks like being) second.

Hopefully Rodgers is able to bring in 4 or 5 players over the summer. I have heard rumour of a CB, LB, Midfielder and another striker. I'm hoping they fall into the Sturrige/Coutinho category and not the Ass-pass, Alberto, Sahko category.

As for Fulham and Cardiff. Sad to see Fulham go, I quite like them as a club, but that team has been poor for a few years now. Not sure they'll bounce straight back up, unless they get a manager in who knows the Championship. I assume Magath is doing one?
As for Cardiff, nothing against the club or the fans, but god ****ing riddance!
Yer boy who owns them (is it Vincent Tan?) is an idiot and he deserves exactly what he's got!
