Premier League 22/23 Thread

So has Ronaldo just deliberately burned his bridges? Can't see him playing again after these comments. I think he'll regret this in a few years, wasting his last couple of years acting like a baby

That's it Ronaldo's finished at United, think the only regret he has is joining Man United in the first place instead of Man City. He's acted like a complete c%#t these last few months but he's exposed the Glaziers who should have sold him in August. Everyone's acting like Ronaldo's finished, don't make me laugh!!!!! We now need 2 strikers in January.

I'm not really sure how he's exposed the Glazers by complaining that the jacuzzi is 10 years old, just makes him sound like the massive entitled twat he is

It's not just that! The full interview hasn't been made public yet, he's blown the doors off on the Glaziers completely. This doesn't happen to Man City or Liverpool.

I'm not enjoying this season so far, it's been horrible to watch at times. Hopefully a fresh start after Christmas

Yup, exact same at Pool.

As for Ballbag doing what anyone with any sense knew the narcissistic **** would do. Why are people surprised? Is his mind any club in the world would love to have him and would bend over backwards to build their team round him cos he is the best player in the world, and he can play until his mid 40's remember (rolls his eyes).
The problem is, no one plays football with a team built round one player anymore, it all about pressing, at 37 Ronaldo cant do that. Not that he was ever really one for mucking in, much more a 'you give the ball to me and I'll do my thing' kinda show pony. Add in his wages, 500kpw for what 3(?) goals in 16 games this season, and the fact that it ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS has to be about him, and unsurprisingly no sensible club would go near him.

He's bucked his toys out of the pram to try and force a move, but who the **** will want him? Real have had him and I don't see much clamour to have him back, Barca are skint and him going there is like him joining Pool, it won't happen. Atleti can't afford him, Spurs/Arsenal are the same. Bayern aren't dumb and don't pay massive wages anyway. Juve are the same as Real, Inter/AC are hardly a step up, and no Portuguese side could afford him even if he took a 90% pay cut. So, he is stuck.
I suspect Utd would have sold in the summer if they got a few million quid for him but from what I hear there no expressions of interest let alone any offers.

He may have a point on Utd needing investment but ehhh we knew that! FFS OT is falling down. If he didnt know that before he rejoined then he is a ****ing moron.

One thing is for certain, in his mind, NONE of this is his fault. Him asking for a transfer in the summer, him refusing to come on and storming off in a sulk, him doing an unauthorised interview and ****ing the manager and club under a bus, definitely not HIS fault at all.

I just hope he ****s off to Saudi or Qatar and the media FINALLY get off the Ronaldo love in obsession they have with him.

ps, can you feel the love!? Lol

luck is certainly going their way, how long can it last!?

How Wolves didnt get a penalty in ten frist half I will never know. The Arsenal boy doesn't get anywhere near the ball, does get the man, tiz in the box but cos the lino flagged, VAR checked for offside and said it was on, but then didn't or couldn't check the foul as offside had been given so wolves got a freekick. Or some such gubbins. Another VAR shambles, and another bit of luck for Arsenal.
They may well have won anyway, Wolves are poor, but a helping hand makes a difference.

Well if your not enjoying this season don't worry the World Cup starts on Sunday with the cracking game of Qatar vs Ecuador. More underwhelming than finding out you own a load of Toy Tony's.

Does it actually start on Sunday?
I genuinely didn't know it was that soon.

Shows how much I care about it

Vardy? ****ing really?! He's finished after this season, and he's hardly likely to accept a 6 month deal. Move along sir. Move along.

Yes, obviously after seeing him in one game we should jump all over him, also, good job no one else in the world will have considered him 🙄

Don't get me wrong, we do need to reinforce in January (we did even before Jesus decided to rest up for his birthday (25th 😂) but **** me we need to stick to our recruitment principles of young and hungry, not sign a 36 year old or go chasing possibly the hottest property off the back of the World Cup.

I actually think a wide forward and a solid Partey backup are more important than a new striker right now.

Yeah you're right, surely based on events so far the 'big six' will all be fighting over Morocco's players!

IIRC we ended up with Davor Suker more or less off the back of his Golden boot in 1998 but only kept him for a season

I think the the big name to sign could possibly be the young Portuguese forward Ramos. Looks an exceptional talent…!!

Thing is so will every other team out there, if he was 30-50 pre tournament he's 80-120 now

And obviously Leicester will happily sell their main striker for a few quid. I mean, they don't mind if they go down, the Championship is great fun league.

You find morons like that on every club forum. Sell 3 squad players, Phil Jones, Mason Greenwood (;-)) and your third choice keeper, for 30m each and then buy Jude Bellingham. Sorted. Obviously clubs will line up to buy your dross that hasn't played for years, Dortmund will take 90m, no one else will bid and Jude Bellingham will just accept Utd cos they are Utd and why would someone who has no attachment to the club want to play for anyone else, like Real, City or Liverpool.

Every club has muppets like that, best just to ignore them. They were probably the ones saying to sack Arteta 18months ago, and that Xhaka should be burnt alive. In 6 months' time they will move on to someone else not being good enough, or will be calling for Arteta to be given a job for life and claim they always rated him etc.
