I honestly can't think of a more unfair 10 minutes of football in my entire life. West Ham deserved nothing from that game, Spurs earned all three points. **** football sometimes.

And to add insult to injury, according to MOTD2 apparently that 94th minute free kick should not even have been given (again, thanks VAR, what are you supposed to be for exactly?) I know you all think I like to whinge but along with that Newcastle penalty Spurs have literally been robbed of 50% of their points after 5 games!

Obviously he wouldn't have done it to a guy, and that makes it unacceptable, BUT you do see players put their arm around the ref (not often but it does happen) and we've all seen refs surrounded by players calling them every name under the sun, which gets shown live on TV as the camera is normally on the ref. I've been saying for years the hounding of refs will stop as soon as a ref grows a set of balls and hands out 6 or 7 yellow, or red, cards the next time it happens. You watch it stop over night when a "big" club get 3 or 4 players sent off for doing it. Chelsea would be the prime candidates as they are atrocious for it. Utd were just a bad, but BIZARRELY it stopped when Fergy left!? Regardless of what club it is, that will stamp it out.
As for Aguero,I don't know how you treat/punish it. You can't really give him a retrospective ban for that. That opens a huge can of worms (Jordan pickford not getting a ban for one of the worst tackles you will see this season, for instance) but at the same time, I'm not sure ignoring it is fair either.
Possibly a public warning and an apology from him. Who knows.
Sorry Edd, I haven't seen MOTD or MOTD2 yet so can't comment on Spuds. That Dier pen a few weeks ago was shocking though
If anybody here is a Statistician, I'd love to know the probability of Arsenal scoring no goals while Chelsea and Spurs both scoring three each, yet still not going above them in the table. It's got to be a million to one.

I agree on the offside is offside totally, there was a time where you had to suck up errors complaining "he was a yard offside". Those days have gone but now VAR is in use, there is still a huge amount of human input. What frame to freeze the view on, sometimes the point the ball leaves the foot is between frames so you cant capture it. Then you have someone drawing lines based on a up close pixilated view of an arm or toe which is completely subjective. I have no issue with using technology to establish the right decision, it works well in other sports but football has to accept that on most of its current uses (aside from goal line technology) it only aids a human's decision making and if anything its thrown a spotlight on just how difficult current rules are to apply when magnified under a more scientific way of applying them.
As a blue I'll take the point though, we looked really off the pace, our 4 south americans made some sizeable round trips on international duty , so coming away with a point and maintaining the positive vibes was massive for us.
Twitter is having its usual melt down suggesting Pickford should be arrested, I'm assuming case for the defence would be googling "Gerrard Naysmith Tackle" or "Kuyt Neville Tackle".
Aye, as I said, I can take the offside decision. I do think they are daft when they are THAT tight, but we have seen quite a few if them so not like this is the first.
VAR not giving that Pickford tackle as a foul is a disgrace though. I have seen some sources say they did look at it, and others say they didn't. If they didn't, they and the ref need some sense knocked into them. How can you "forget" the foul, especially when the player (who isn't exactly a Neymar/Ronaldo esque fairy) is still lying on the ground in agony.
I did think Pool were the better if the two sides, but I am biased. I will say this much, that is the first time in a long time where Everton have looked like a decent side. Still a tad too direct for my liking, but take nothing away from them, they are a good team.
Normally derby games where Everton get something are horrible Sunday League standard beating matches, but that was a proper game of football. Everton should be aiming for Europe this year. With a little luck the EL should be a disappointing outcome for them.
And yes, there have been dozens of shocking tackles in that fixture over the years and anyone calling for an assault charge etc is just a moron.

Yeah we were certainly more expansive, I was actually disappointed that we didn't impose ourselves more. The longer we can ride this good form and put some points between ourselves and the likes of Spurs and Leicester the better, gives us something to hold on to. Too often we see European refs just give frees every time for that. Certainly in the games against Pool PSG went to ground every single time a Pool player came within 2 feet of them. It was beyond pathetic. Fingers crossed PSG finish 3rd in that group.
