And I'll start with a team

Craig Gordon
Wes Brown - Jonathon Woodgate -- John O'Shea - Roberto Carlos
Seth Johnson - Sebastian Veron - Kaka - Stewart Downing
Adriano - Andy Carroll - Fernando Torres

Beckham was a good player, but nothing better than a good PL player. His signing by Real owed a fair bit to his ability to sell shirts. Don't think we're gonna agree on this one though!

Roberts Carlos is definitely making the team!
Veron is prob a good shout. Downing? Does anyone act rate him, or are you saying he's act even shitter than ppl think? Lol
Torres is a tough one. For a year to 18 months he was one of e best strikers in the world, but now he looks like a poor mans Jason Lee!

How about Dida for keeper? He was at AC for years and yet I never saw him make a decent save.

Probably not - although I rate him for what he did for the National team as much as anything else - not somehting that you are really too bothered about :wink:

He's still not the player he was at Liverpool.
I genuinely can't think of a player who has ever gone from being so good to so mediocre. His brilliance in his early Liverpool career was over too long a period of time to be a rich vein of form etc.
