My latest pick up, I'm delighted to finally have a MOC from my childhood toy shop

That's awesome getting a MOC from your childhood toy shop, I would love to do that but mine was a newsagent in a small village so I would imagine it would be virtually impossible.

Thanks Anthony, yes, I imagine that would be incredibly difficult unless they had their name on the price stickers and even then the volumes available would be lower than a large shop like Dominoes

Incredible Carl. I completely understand the sentiment with the old toy shop. Mr Clarke has a couple of card backs with stickers from the one we both used to go to. Hobby toy in Rochdale.

I think that these are great, I bought a modern R2D2 the other week which is in the same vein.
I see that the TIE is already for sale, good luck with it.

Thanks both. The TIE is up on DOND. I've only ever seen three and I own two of them

Had my eye on the Landspeeder and X Wing for a while and was offered the TIE with no extra postage. Assumed I could move it on at cost but not so sure now

many many congrats on finally getting the Ben-and a virtually mint example no less :shock: Anyone who is seriously involved knows how tough a 12 back Palitoy Ben is to find today and to find a near perfect one we r talking toy gold :!:
Makes me wish I still had my mint example

Well it has certainly been a crazy year for all of us what with COVID-19, lockdown and furlough etc :!:
It has also been a crazy one for me regarding vintage SW as yesterday I received the last MOC I have been missing for a long time to complete the Palitoy full historic production run of Luke Skywalker X-Wing Fighter Pilot :!:
Probably a surprise to many is that the two MOCs I had been missing for years were both ROTJ examples; 45C & the 65 back :!: They have been tougher to find than any 12 back so I was amazed to secure the 65 back on the wkend and the 45C late last month :!: It doesn't rain, it pours

I finally bought a display cabinet to house the 5 MOC's I hadn't sold off from my old collection and have this week added the loose graded landos and the B-Wing Pilot MOC. I have a loose graded Wicket, Ree Yees, Han Bespin in the post along with an At-At on the way too.. making up for lost time
