Thanks for all the comments guys, appreciated. :D
Just love the kids marks on cards, I find it endearing,
Thanks Stephen, he does look great in his new case, thanks!

And here's one of my other goals for 2017 ticked off - an AT-ST Scout Walker. Very happy with this one. Thanks to everyone who chipped in with their verdict on the packaging on my previous thread. :D

Wow what a beauty. Very nice.

For 30+ years this old timer has been without a cape. With winter coming I felt it was time to put that right. A few quid off a reputable dealer on Ebay and I'm chuffed to bits that my childhood Ben finally has a cape. It's not the biggest purchase but sometimes it's the small investments that are the best.

Congratulations Jabbawookie in a lovely condition Tusken and a great price for today's mad world!
And again well done for preserving with the ATST.

Great story Darth Bobby on your Bens cape, that figure is in amazing condition for a childhood piece!

A big day for me as I finally got my hands on the last loose figure that I need to complete my loose run. It's taken me nearly 2 years to do and it's largely down to a great bunch of guys on the forum that I have been able to finally complete my run!

Special thanks to DarthDooDoo for this artoo pop up saber which I have been after for ages!!

So I couldn't resist a couple of group shots, starting of course with the first 12 which, like all new collectors, was my original collecting goal!

IMG_6584.JPG

Then my last 17 which includes some of my favourite and least favourite figures from the whole collection (I'm looking at you imp dig you bell end!)

IMG_6583.JPG

Finally one or two my favourite variants which I suspect is a dark path that I will now start to follow!!

Just want to give a massive shout out to all of mods/admins/members for helping to make such a great resource and community for collectors and giving up their free time to do so.

Also special mention to itfciain as a large proportion of my figures and accessories have come from him over the last couple of years.....big up!

No worries, Andy - I'm sure R2 will be happy in his new home! :D

Your collection looks great - well done for sticking at it for 2 years. I'm loving the Yoda / R2 / Fett chorus line!

I must admit I'm usually not one for buying reseals or open bubbles etc, but when there are only about 5 known MOC examples you can't be picky. Here's an unopened Palitoy cut card I have paired with a matching cardback, need to think of a way to attach them without doing any permanent damage. It would be nice to find a cardback with no visible tearing too. But it should display pretty well.

He looks Uber cool and properly minty. I'm sure you'll come up with a solution to marry the two but even if you don't he looks awesome. There's just something about the Palitoy Logo makes everything look so much better.

Nice going Edd. Maybe that should be a new acrylic design, slots for bubbles/cut cards to be displayed with cardbacks

Cut a hole for the bubble in a top loader and pop it in an acrylic case, it'll look great

great work on completion of loose run mate and not bad time think mine took over 2 years... struggled on blue snag for ages ...
lovely boxed atst a real steal!!
that luke x wing awesome.. and annoyingly that palitoy logo does make everything look belting... and more expensive lol

Pleased to have acquired the coin artwork sculpting references and sculpting notes for Amanaman which came from the head of the Kenner sculpting department purchased from Tom Derby.

He's NOT AN ALIEN GUARD just a creature!!!

Thanks mate, tbh I haven't actually got blue snag yet but he doesn't count so it's still a complete loose run!

Been a while since I checked out this thread :!: As usual some 8) pick ups, just to mention a couple,

The Amanaman design work is certainly something u don't c every day-love it.
Laurence ur Spanish Tri Amanaman is great-good old Andy Clarke
Edd what a score on the Tri-logo Jawa from Vectis :!: Amazing result  Also nice job on the moc up 30 LXW

Here is my latest pick up and many thanks to James Martin. Card is crease free and superb, scratching my head as to why the card sub grade is not 85
