Finish and matte on cardback looks correct. Bubble looks extremely case fresh....but it is not unheard of. Smooth seal on bubble is no alarm, Punch looks correct, Font looks correct and I have not seen many Hoth troopers on Jedi cards repoduced...not to say it has not occurred. What makes you think the cardback and bubble are repro?????

Those "case-fresh" bubbles are exactly what you see from ToyToni. Much more common with the Palitoy ROTJs than the Kenner. You'll never see a Kenner bubble as clear as that plus those Palitoy bubbles often look a bit "suss". But to me this one looks 100% legit.

I just know it is guys, from having it in my hands, I kept putting it away picking it back up and every time I held it I knew something wasn't right, also didn't like the black mark on his head and also to the rear side of him, also for a stormy in this condition why only 3 bids on him? And 2 of them were from me, also when somebody claims something is 100% legit, and yet when I receive it, why didn't he fight it and say it was? He simply said sorry, look I'm no pro at this but in my views from having hands on it was fake, but anyways.

At least you didn't do what Nick did once (SilverGrin) - he had two ROTJ Palitoy figures and instead of coming to check on here if they were legit, he sold them as customs for £20 each I think lol! Sorry Nick

Yeah, the guy is either not arguing cos he doesn't know his stuff and is taking your word for it. Or he just thinks it's better not to argue through fear of getting a neg.
Marks on the figure inside the bubble are not uncommon at all. No issue there.
Like i said before. Those Palioty ROTJs are often so different looking to their Kenner counterparts that they can look fake. The cards seem to rigid and shiny and the bubbles to clean and 'plain' looking. Here is an identical Moc to yours being sold by Toytoni. Everything is exactly the same except his is unpunched.

Exactly, and it's not. That's why i thought it needed to be posted. When i first saw those Palitoy mocs i thought they were fake too. Bubble looks funny, cards looks to clean etc.

Does the finish on the card have a way different feel to it than any other carded figure or loose it's gloss when viewed at an angle? Does the punch hole show any sign of ever having a tab punched from it? Does it appear looking at the sides and the edges that the front of the cardback and back of the cardback have been glued to the actual cardboard? Does the bubble show any signs of glue residue or double sided tape? The finish and punch are somewhat questionable to me now since Pete did a side by side comparison....but it is not a great difference.

The finish of the card was unlike any card i have bought before apart from one, which was a fake 12 back, also when i bought the fake 12 back, i looked up on some starwars info before i joined this forum, they said one of the things too look out for was the punch been slightly pushed in from the back, showing that whilst faking it and cutting the punch out, then pushing it back in to look legit, anyway this one never had the punch in and tbh looked as though it never had a real one in the first place, thats about all i can tell you since i don`t have it anymore.

I now think that this was a well done fake. The finish after a closer look at the pictures looks too dull and slightly washed-out. The punch also looked a little too clean and slightly larger. I think you made the right choice.

I dont want to commit too hard without looking at this in hand but I would say it looks legit to me.

At the end of the day though, if you arent 100% happy and want to return it then you may as well just for your own peace of mind.

I know you have said it feels like any card you have felt but do you have any other ungraded Palitoy ROTJ cards to compare it to like for like? Palitoy MOCs from the ROTJ line do have a different look and feel to kenner ones.

I bought and sold many cards mate, I've had palitoy cards, it was fake in my views felt like crap in my hands, anyway just my views. I also feel that as time goes on fakes get better, it's like seeing a fake £1 pound coin, to the eye you don't notice, when in your hand you do.

I've just won 2 Moc's from a seller in the US and asked for combined shipping

I get a reply stating no problem will adjust invoice and send a tracking no as well to you

I then get a message from e-bay stating the seller wants to cancel both my transactions as he won't ship to the UK!!!
Reason being 'I no longer ship to the UK because of a previous scammer from your country'. I then get another message from the seller stating very similar and apologising if I'm an honest buyer etc and asking me to cancel both transactions.

I'M REALLY PISSED OFF ABOUT THIS :evil: :evil:

I messaged back politely stating OK I will cancel the transactions but in future he needs to change his listing to not post worldwide or that he won't post to the UK as it has wasted my time

Going to make him sweat a bit and not cancel the transactions straightaway :twisted: -

Been dealing with this dispicable little **** on ebay this morning.

Basically so as not to go on with long boring story, the short of it is, i bought something from him on my buying account. (i have a buying account and a selling account).
He over-charged for postage so i contacted him asking nicely if he'd refund the difference. He refused saying the total was for packing etc etc.
So i left him negative feedback.
It just so happens that this same seller had bought something from me this week from my buying account (it happens when you're all dealing in the same kind of stuff) and he was clever enough to notice this (which i almost have respect for) and as a retaliation left me negative feedback. There was obviously no issue with the transaction on my selling account as i am an efficient and honest seller. He was just doing it to get back at me. And with messages that followed, black-mail me into removing his feedback.
But as always, even a smarty-pants like him was way out of his depth messing with me. :lol:

So here's his account with the feedback i left him. True feedback. I can be a dick but i don't lie.

And here's the feedback he left me on my other account. (note the time in the top left... i think you know what i'm about to do) :wink:

Now watch carefully as i make his feedback disappear.... (note the time)

When the guy left the feedback i was just about to sign into my other account and tear the guy a new one. Call him all the names under the sun and tell him that i'm gonna get his feedback removed etc etc but luckily i thought better of it. I'm always advising people not to do that and i just caught myself in time. If he could show any unreasonable behaviour on my part to ebay then he may have a case for getting my feedback removed so i'm not gonna give him any help.
This way is much better.

Cheap figure, good figure but repro weapon not disclosed in listing. I messaged him and mentioned this, he admitted the weapon was repro and offered a refund but a refund is irrelevant, its the false listing I was questioning. This is only a small fry issue but still worth mentioning.

I hope so, my brother bought a few figures from him, the weapons were repro too. He didn't neg him though, had to set an example for him... :lol:

This hole bought a carded Klaatu from me, stupidly believing that proof of postage was enough I sent this out non recorded, I can kick myself now as this "Ebayer" claimed it was lost in the post, left me chasing it up, then opened a case and stiffed me for the money. I bookmarked his listings and check them for months until here is the Klaatu on his listings!!
