Watcha guys

Avoid the ebay seller:

avicii93

Bought a modern POTF Boba Fett (THX insert) off him last week (£3.50 - bit of a bargain) and it arrived today like this:

He wrapped it in bubble wrap, then wrapped two pieces of cardboard around it, then wrapped it in brown paper. Someone left him positive feedback about a week ago but stated that his packaging was poor :o Why would you then leave positive feedback??!

I've asked him that since he doesn't offer returns, does he do refunds
Still going to neg the ****** whatever he says :D

Same thing happened to me with Hunter Toys, never had this happened to me before that purchase, and after reading the
description I couldn't see how I could neg him for the packaging, so I gave him a positive, but wrote about the poor packaging.

Yeah i was just about to say Nick (something i've said several times) it doesn't matter if an ebayer says they don't do returns/refunds etc. It's not up to them! Paypal will refund you if you are messed around. If you're really miffed you can tae that route and still leave him negative feedback. (it's the morally correct thing to do  ) But since he's offered a refund it's probably easier just to accept. Having said this, this would only be acceptable to me if he's offering refund on postage both ways.

Cheers Pete. He's offered me a refund and agreed to pay for the return postage. Pretty fair I think, but can't believe how bad his packaging was

Yeah it's piss poor Nick. But he's lost out in the end. You can wait for another one to come along. He now has a damaged item and has had to fork out for return postage.

**** him (not literally), send it back, get your refund, then neg him anyway!
If he thought that packing was suitable he deserves it, if he was so dumb he didn't realise it needed better packing, he shouldn't be allowed to use scissors without mummy or daddy helping him. Either way he deserves a neg! :D

how people can think that sending a couple of vintage carded figures in a bubble envelope is decent packing? - of 4 lots I've bought off ebay in the last couple of weeks, 2 lots of carded figs were packed great, the other 2 came in bubble envelopes, the 1st lot arrived really battered and the seller didnt want to know saying they were packed well :o - wouldnt refund so had to claim via ebay, the other lot arrived yesterday but packed the same, lucky they came ok in star cases

Emiel, how stupid can some people be?
I hope you have opened a case.

Just a note- Ian Hamilton might be a decent seller but as a buyer he is a pain in the ass - He had run ins with multiple members using multiple ID's on RS and considering Christian and Jake (J74) were two of the sellers who many of us know are stand up guys it says a lot to me.

IF you are unlucky enough to be a seller to Ian there is a big risk of him moaning about something, demanding a refund and then being a complete cock with how he talks to you.

Best just avoid IMO!

Just a bumping a old thread guys as a warning this guy is back on Ebay under "councilman_Yoda"

He seems heres back to his old tricks - http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1084111/

I presume he cashed the cheque ? Have you opened up an Ebay case - I presume that if you can give them proof that the cheque has been cashed (bank statement) then you should win your case

theguy hardly had a feedback as it was, so the fact i paid by cheque outside of ebay i suppose you could say, id say its a no go of winning a case! i do have his address so i suppose i could take a dump and post that to him

PM everyone who wants it his address, we can send him loads of ***** in the post...
...you know, those crap adverts in the Sunday papers "Please rush me my porcelain puppy collection, i don't need to send any money now, just 4 monthly payments of £16" etc etc

Won't get you your cheque back, but it will make you feel better

I don't think that you have paid outside ebay - they give you the option of paying by cheque - I suppose the only issue is that they won't reimburse you - although they are likely to close his account

If the chq has been cashed then this is theft and you could report it to the police

That must be fraud or obtaining money under false pretences, have a word with your friendly local Bobby. You have the guys name, address, proof he cashed the cheque and a catalogue of emails showing he hasn't sent you anything. Should be an open and shut case. Mind you it involves plod getting off their arses so don't get your hopes up.

This really gets my ******* goat. You don't see it much these days but it makes my blood boil.

Nothing but a thieving ****.

I messaged the **** just cos it would me up. I'll be interested to hear his response. Something rude and arrogant no doubt from someone with no scruples whatsoever.

"So if i win 10 of your sticker lots you'll charge me £10 for postage even tho it'll only cost you .90p? Not sure how you can justify that. Seems very dishonest to me.

Pete."

Well i'm going to use my evil powers to destroy him.
If his response is not polite and satisfactory i'm going to buy 5 lots, pay the inflated postage and leave negative feedback once they arrive. (which i'm allowed to do. You are not allowed to intentionally over-charge for postage even if you write a little ******* note in your sale). Then i'm going to use a different account to buy 5 more lots and leave another neg when they arrive. I'm going to do this 4 times to really **** his feedback and warn other potential buyers that this is a dishonest **** of a seller that they should not be dealing with.

  Pete ( the wrecking ball ) Gowdy! ******* up ********* feedback one Neg at a time.

Good onya dude this prick deserves everything you give him.

P.S. remind me never to get on your bad side mate
