  Pete ( the wrecking ball ) Gowdy! ******* up ********* feedback one Neg at a time.

Good onya dude this prick deserves everything you give him.

P.S. remind me never to get on your bad side mate

Funny, i've had that said before. I really am a nice guy. I just hate dishonesty. He's probably been getting away with this for years with no one realising they can do anything about it "oh, well, he wrote a little ******* note so nothing i can do i guess..." Wrrrrong!
We've all been on the receiving end of ***** like this and it's my moral obligation to do something about it. And luckily due to the way my twisted mind works, i usually think of a way of doing it good.

I love the auctions where they state that they can't combine postage because they have already packaged up the item - what a load of bull - and I bet if you bought multiple itmes they would arrive together

He states "i will charge postage for each item but i will send them together." He's not even hiding the fact that it's a money making scheme.

Yeah, well i'm gonna be careful. You can report someone to ebay if you believe they are buying things just to leave negative feedback. I am buying 4 lots on 1 account and 5 on another. I will leave the feedback about 4 weeks apart and word it as differently as i can. I'll then just see what happens. If he contacts me i will demand 100% refund of the postage to remove the feedback. Hopefully that will stop him doing it. If not i will go again and there won't be feedback to tell ebay i've done it before as i would have removed it. ;)

His response. (and as predicted...)

This rude, arrogant, thieving prick now has 4 lovely negs on his account. He even had the cheek to send the package 2nd class. What an arsehole. This one felt good tho. I'll give you "sue me" you little prick.

I've also blocked the guy so he can't try and buy something from me to leave a neg. Also he was kind enough to include the return address on the envelope so i will know if he uses a different account.

Not suprisingly the seller was a little annoyed at having 4 shiny new negs on his account and left me "negative-positive" feedback. (note the time of day in the right hand corner... i'm about to perform a little magic trick...)

.....[drum roll]....Ta da! All gone. (note the time)

So how did you do that ?

Well due to having feedback removed before (twice actually ;)) i learnt a little bit about what can and can't be said in feedback ebay are very strict on this and actually quite keen to remove feedback if they can but if everything is done properly and worded carefully they are powerless and must leave the feedback in place. It's why i'm often saying to people 'don't swear, don't say anything slanderous or untrue (scam-artist, thief etc) and stick to the facts'. I also learned that negative-positives (something i've done myself), are against ebay rules so when he left those i rang ebay and asked to have them removed. While i was chatting to the guy i explained exactly why i left this guy negative feedback and they said they would launch an investigation into his selling practices and if what i was saying was true they would deal with him quite harshly as what he's doing is brazenly profiting from postage.

I don`t know where too post this tbh, but i will here i guess, i recently bought a Moc off ebay, now when i saw it for sale and read the description the guy had described it in a dodgey way, so i pm`ed him asked him if it was 100% factory sealed and not repo *****, he told me he had over 100 Palitoy cards and all were 100% original, when it landed i could tell straight away it was a pile of *****, fake bubble fake card, i guess even someone like myself who has only being collecting over a year, but has owned many mocs by now, can see the differance between good and bad, anyway i contacted the guy, didnt accuse him of anything since who knows he may not know himself, but anyway he said post it back and he will refund, which i will send it tomorrow, but i don`t know if we have a topic on this forum of sellers and buyers who too avoid on ebay but i think we should, even if this guy made a genuine mistake his packaging skills were terrible like my spelling, he aslo sends secound class unrecorded and his postage charges are too much for that crap too, anyway guys his name is " mcl7174" .

Thread on Ebay sellers to avoid.....

If he sends stuff second class unrecorded, why not set up a second account, buy loads of stuff from him, get it sent to a different address and when it arrives unrecorded open a PP claim for item not received
Bit of a cunty thing to do but if he is knowingly selling repro ****.

Hi Scott

Just looking at his completed listings - which was the figure that you bought ?

Iain

Thought that might have been the one - the rest look OK to me at first glance but there is something slightly off with that one - have you got some pictures you can post up here - it's alway worth seeing these things so everyone knows what to look out for

Yes sure mate I will see if my comp will work it has been playing up, also I was going to post him before but I felt abit of a tit cause In my sale thread I said I had a stormy Moc coming up for sale, then when he came through the door I had been sucker punched again :)

Ok these are the only pics i took, i sent him back this morning, anyway im sure from these you can see what this low down dirty rat tryed too pull on me, the funny thing like i said, i even asked him if he could guarentee if it was fully original and factory sealed (yes i know my spelling sucks balls) lol

Finish and matte on cardback looks correct. Bubble looks extremely case fresh....but it is not unheard of. Smooth seal on bubble is no alarm, Punch looks correct, Font looks correct and I have not seen many Hoth troopers on Jedi cards repoduced...not to say it has not occurred. What makes you think the cardback and bubble are repro?????
