Not familiar with this guy but for me that's definitely a good thing. I think it's important, no, essential to stay away from big-name actors and "stars" for the new film/s. It's an important ingredient in what made the originals work. Sadly i don't think Disney will have that kind of wisdom or bravery. You probably won't be able to make out a new face in the hoard of a and b list actors crammed into every scene. I hope i'm wrong.

ON a slightly related note; when i saw this actor in Place Beyond the Pines i thought there was something about him that would make a good young jedi and/or sith for the new films. A fresh, young face and a decent actor with presence and depth. Basically the opposite of Hayden Christensen.

Same here, and I couldn't agree more.

As said this is a great bit of casting whatever the role, if you know nothing about this guy watch spooks as Iain has already pointed out, top show to watch anyway. But also Rise of Planet of the Apes, Last King of Scotland and Jack Reacher.

That's it! Absolutely dead on :)

They summed up perfectly where Ep 1,2&3 went wrong. The only thing I would add is that while the script doesn't need to be written as a genius work of art in it's own right, it doesn't need to be complete dog turd either

Exhibit A - Every line written for Natalie Portman
