Awesome TV shows

Not sure if anyone's mentioned Banshee?

Well worth watching, it's currently on episode 4 on Sky Atlantic.

:)

Excited about 24.... Come on, it is a decade old as a concept and everyone's moved on, I mean how many inept terrorists, wandering mountain lions and high school drop out who become instant tech wizzs can there be, plus who want to see Chloe sulk and snarl her way through yet another episode.... Will probably still watch it of course.

Just watched the first four episodes of the US version of House of Card.
It is great, Spacy is absolutely stellar in the roll. It has been a few years since I watched the original but this is every bit as good from memory, really worth a watch.

Just got to the end of Game of Thrones SE3 over here... love it but it never seems to last long enough, and frustrated because none of the scumbags in it have got their comeuppance yet.

The Mrs has started watching Wentworth which is a Prisoner Cell Block H remake (if anyone here remembers that tripe) but with violence, swearing and lesbian action...

Now watching (or waiting for new season):
Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Da Vinci's Demons, Falling Skies

To do: Continuum, Defiance
Looking forward to the Marvel series (Agents of SHIELD)

Bid of a bump for an old thread but new TV season is upon us and actually a few good ones, well I think.

Agents of Shield - I assume all members of this forum are watching this (stereotype or what :)) but this has promise. Only 2 in but enjoyable and Agent Coulson rocks oh and so do Lola...

The Wrong Mans - again only 2 in but great stuff and what a cast, that must be the entire BBC budget gone on one show, enjoyable and refreshing to find an episodic comedy rather than a 'sit-com'

Graceland - watchable, interesting as it is a 'true story' but not revolutionary in terms of TV.

Low Winter Sun - great, gritty and f@&£ed up

The Blacklist - isn't going to be the most original of shows but with James Spader it is a must watch in my house and the first episode was very enjoyable, side note... Spader must be the most original super villan casting in an Super hero film for a while

Dracular starts in a while and that looks different so looking forward to it.

Of the returning shows for the UK but I think most have already aired in the US
Season 2 of Veep
Season 7 of Psych
Season 2 of Elementary
Season 3 of Nikita
Season 6 of True Blood
Season 4 of East Bound and Down
Season 2 of Bad education
Season 4 of Boardwalk Empire

I love me a bit of TV :)

Yeah I've been watching this with intrigue too and am looking forward to some answers (haven't read the book so no spoilers please).

Despite some terrible acting from the minor characters its been really enjoyable :)

Got to say, jut seen a Trailer for upcoming BBC programs, for the first time in a long time this looks good.

Season 2 of Ripper street, loved the first more of the same I hope.
Season 3 of Sherlock, enough said...
Day of the Doctor, enough said
The Musketeers, looks interesting
The great train robbery, not a lot known

Oh and just started watching Atlantis, after Strictly (come one we all watch it :)) - very much cut form the same cloth as recent BBC historical drama types Robin Hood and Merlin but very watchable Saturday night in stuff.

Ripper St and Sherlock agreed mate, don't watch SCD...not for me...however, do watch Downton, really do like it...weird one that

Meant to watch Atlantis..not got round to it yet...

Finally an episode of Homeland that was actually watchable and left me wanting to see the next, no surprise that it was also the first episode of the serise with Lewis in it.

Watching the first episode of The Tunnel right now, cracking watch.

Also plumed in serise 2 of Elementary and Arrow into the sky box for next week. And serise 4 of Strike Back the week after.

Winter TV rocks....

Yeah, its been a pretty slow start hasn't it ! Not sure why there has been so much attention on the daughter - surely with all the focus groups and research these film companies do they can't have identified her as the key character in all of this

Umm, love Monday TV now
Arrow, then Ripper St, then Strike Back - haven't stopped smiling for 3 Hrs :) oh and true blood to round of the night.
