Premier League 22/23 Thread

Also love the false reporting today that Villa are second in the league since November - yeah, if you turn a blind eye that both they and Arsenal have played 3 more games than City, and two more than United and Newcastle. Don't get me wrong Emery has done a good job, but that stat is just nonsense. City have been the best team since November if they win just two of those 3 games.

I would prefer Osimhen to Kane @weasel younger and Ten Had can actually develop players. To be honest we need two strikers, Martial is only half a striker, he's had more injuries than a casualty extra. I would say to Spurs here's £45 million and Harry Maquire, take it or leave it. 😂 Only other option for Kane realistically is Newcastle. I would even sign Osimhen now to make Spurs realise we're not desperate. Ten Hag wants Kane though so in him I trust…….

Good that table @edd_jedi I see Man Utd still hanging onto 4th, surprised Spurs are so low.

Aye, I was amazed by that table, but the fact not everyone has played the same number of games does kinda make it irrelevant.

Aye, I have never rated Martial. On his day he is very good, but he is just so French. Half the time you get that Gallic shrug and a look that says "What? You want me to run? Nah!" He's been at Utd for 8 yrs or so and has never done anything beyond flattering to deceive.

Ehhh "£45 million plus a walking liability who is probably worth a tenner at best"................I can see Levy going for that! Spurs need another **** defender too.

Yes please don't palm Maguire off on us 😂

Honestly I'm amazed we're so high considerning we have no manager, no director of football, and half our best players are injured.

Ramsdale has to do better for that first one. Fair dos he has made a few decent saves, but that first one was a 25 yard daisy cutter FFS.
The good saves he has made since don't outweigh the soft one he let in for me.

Men against boys unfortunately…….
My thoughts exactly.
Totally outclassed. That is not an insult though. There is NO shame in being out played by a City side like that.

I was ABOUT to say, and Haaland has been '****' but he just scored. Lol

Odegaard gave the ball away far far too easily for the third goal, and Arsenal should have had a penalty for that hand ball by Haaland. He leans in to it FFS. His hand may have been by his side but it still hits his arm, below the shirt line. If that was an Arsenal player (or any opponent of City's) that is given 100% of the time (home or away).

But take nothing away from City, they were a class apart tonight.

I have a bad feeling this won't be the worst North London score line against a Manchester side this week. Oh and a quick shout out to Lampard, 5 out of 5 :ROFLMAO:

I'm glad I'm not the only one questioning the penalty decision. Wouldn't have changed much though

If that penalty decision was bad, what about the one WHU should've had last night? Awful reffing/VAR yet again. The ref throughout was completely biased. These Sky 6 teams get away with so much every game, it's crazy. Constant niggly little fouls to stop the other team's transitions. And as for McManamanamanan as a pundit. The obvious bias is laughable!

Unfortunately, a game too far for us- looked a bit leggy. Wish we'd really gone for it, as the few times we did press effectively, Liverpool made mistakes. Thought Liverpool looked pretty good again though. Great goal by Paqueta- starting to look like a proper player, now he's got used to the league.

Thinks it's in the bag for Man City now. Can't see where they drop any points now, whereas I can see Arsenal dropping even more. Strangerbthings have happened, but can only see MC winning at a canter now.
