Variants

Some great variety there guys, very impressive! 8)

I still think your all nuts for buying dozens of copies of the same figure just cos he has slightly different hair etc, but sure, each to their own!

You didn't think I was gonna comment on a variant thread and not slag you variant devients/collectors off did you?

Ok out of Steve , Josh and myself I will be the first to ask......what 8D8 variations are in that picture James???

If you say circles...

Oh and one more thing- cardbacks , either a 79?

Oh yes, top of my list that one

In total there are four :

Both legs with circles
Both legs without
Left leg circle - Right without
Right leg circle - Left without

I don't know the reason for the difference in leg/hip markings in all honesty but I do know that they were produced at the same time as they exist in all possible combinations MOC and Bagged so all the limbs must have been mixed at the factory.

I guess if it saves you some effort - you could just have without circles and with as that is the real variation (circles or no circles not what combination you have)

4 of the baggies in this picture have each variation, I was lucky I guess, first few baggies I picked up were all different so I don't really think there is any need for me to have an extra four loose

Yep but just to show you how there is no link to the combinations:

My Canadian 65b has both circles and so does one of my Palitoy Trilogos

My Kenner 79b has no circles and my Clipper Trilogo has one circle
