Ok maybe a bit late, but I know Lee loves my football threads so here goes;

What's the predictions for the following guys,

1) Premiership winner,
2) Premiership runner-up,
3) CL qualifiers,
4) UEFA Cup qualifiers
5) FA Cup winner,
6) Worthless/Worthington/Coca Cola/Milk Cup winner,
7) Three sides to go down,
8) Any other random predictions

I guess I'll start it off

1) Chelsea (hopefully not the scum)
2) The scum
3) Liverpool ahead of Arsenal
4) Spurs ahead of Everton
5) Take your pick from any of the "big four"
6) Chelsea
7) Stoke, Hull and (hopefully) Bolton. WBA will struggle though, as will Fulham

Here is my predictions

1. Hate to say this but i get a nasty feeling the scum will equal our record.
2.Chelsea
3.Liverpool, Arsenal.
4.Aston Villa and Spurs
5.Liverpool
6.Portsmouth
7.Stoke, Hull and WBA

I'm superstitious about football so I won't predict how Liverpool will do this season!!

Well the Baggies only lost 1-0 to Arse, thats an encouraging start as far as I'm concerned. Just need to get a couple more players back from injury/olympics and hope a couple of potential purchases come off. I think we'll just about avoid relegation.

Come on BORO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MIDDLESBRO 2 SPURS 1 GET IN! (The Spurs goal was an own goal by Robert Huth anyway lol)

Now all i need is Liverpool to beat Sunderland and Man U to beat Newcastle Utd to be a perfect weekend! and ive managed to source some MOC's ive been after for ages.

I hope Newcastle stuff utd, but i can see you having a very good weekend. :D

Selling three of your best players over the summer IS a novel way of trying to stay up!

Nah didn't sell them. They turned down new contracts and moved on Bosmans for better money  Kevin Phillips knew his knees were getting dodgy and that he might not play enough games in the Premiership so took the easy option and dropped a division.

As much as I would prefer otherwise, I reckon Chelsea will storm it this season. They may not even lose a game. :( I think they will be hella-motivated this time, and I doubt the mancs will be able to match them. Silver lining is that at least it would mean the mancs can't equal liverpool's record - again I don't think we'll be anywhere near the top come May

1 chelsea
2 arsenal
3 man utd ahead of liverpool
4 spurs and blackburn , unless they sell their strikers
5 chelsea
6 arsenal
7 stoke, hull and wba

chelsea will win league as utd are without the "loyal" portugeser until october, doesn't look like they are going to sign a striker yet , so with tevez injured and rooney not fit the start of the premier league is going to be tough. they were so lucky last year and feel it will be fergies last. they will probably go for winning the world club championship in japan in december and have a good run in the champions league again, but it must be hard to keep the hunger for players like giggs and scholes and neville who are about at the end of their careers and this season will be the likely end to the fergie era. arsenal are a young team and play fantastic football but are a bit inconsistant. liverpool .... not sure but if saturday was anything to go by it looks like another season of nearly but not quite. there is still to much in fighting amongst the owners and manager. if barry had been signed then maybe it could have been a good year for them because barry and gerrard have an excellent understanding and would have been the premierships top midfield duo. ... but thank god they didn't

I'll have Xavi Alonso (and the extra £6-8 million) over Gareth Barry ANY DAY!

Arsenal are a great team and brilliant too watch, but when the injuries and suspensions kick in they will really struggle. Their squad is too thin, and god knows how inept their medical people are but no Arsenal player who gets a 3 week injury is ever back inside 2 months (unless it's to re-injure himself).

aint that the truth :(

and you are 100% right about Alonso - what is Benitez's obsession Barry?

Have we got anyone on here who supports a team outside the 'big' four?  (other than myself)

I honestly believe the baggies could be a surprise package this season, especially when our new signings and injured first teamers are ready. Hopefully we can give Everton another 4-0 caning on Saturday like we did last time we played them.

I can only assume Barry has some pictures of Benitez in some sort of compromising position. Other wise he would have done the same as any sane manager when told Villa wanted £18+ million and told Martin O'neil to do one!

I've always kept an eye out for Crewe's results and my mate dragged me to see Cambridge United play a few times. They are both about as far from big four as you can get, but I wouldn't claim to be a fan of either, more an interested spectator. If that counts!? :D

2stripes is an Everton fan, but he hasn't been on in months. Actually hold on, do Everton count as a "football" team?

Barry for £18 million is bad, but **** me Stewart Downing for £12 million!

We've just given Harry Kewell a free why not just get him back!? He's twice the player, even when he's injured, and he won't cost £12 million!

I think Benitez has lost the ****ing plot, he seem obsessed with over paying for average premiership players. Keane, Barry and now Downing!
Who's next, Jason ****ing Lee!
