That was never a 5-1 game.
At 2-1 it could have gone either way. WH had a few half decent chances and dominated for a good while. The third goal killed it, and the sending off was the nail in the coffin.
Pool's equaliser may well have been offside, I would need to see a replay or a picture with the lines drawn, and WH had two shouts for penalties, neither were pens for me, but
@Cazza may well disagree. The first one, the Gomez one, his arm is by his side (it comes out after the ball hits him) and if the ball doesn't hit it, it hits his chest. No pen for me. The Tsimikas one hits his chest. It may well deflect on to his arm, the replay showed it from an angle were Kelleher blocked the view at that stage, but I'm pretty sure they don't give pens for something that deflects on to your arm from your chest when the ball is blasted at you from a few yards.
Although, given there was no VAR, they may well have been given had that cluster **** of a waste of time been in use.
WH definitely didn't deserve a 5-1 hiding though. That game was a lot more even than the score implies.
I thought Curtis Jones and Gakpo played really well, and Tsimikas was a ******* liability. Endo looked rusty as **** too.
Ohh and Antonio is a beast. Not the best player the world has ever seen, but a ******* unplayable man mountain on his day.
