So, that game changing goal shouldn't have been allowed.
Who woulda thought. Ohhh hold on, any sane ****er who saw it!

Between stuff like that, the nonsense hand ball rule they tried to play at the start of the season, and goals like Utd's at WH where the ball CLEARLY went off the pitch, the poor officiating/woeful standard of VAR could well end up deciding the title, or CL spots.

Thankfully that doesn't affect Pool in their relegation battle!

What's is name the Villa boss got sent off as well for complaining! I can see City having a 2 point lead with a game in hand after this weekend, never mind!

The City-Villa game was a big turning point for me as City should have dropped points, they are 7 points in front of Liverpool, who I still consider the main contenders. Big game for Liverpool tomorrow, if they beat Spurs it's a huge result. You have to remember we're only half way through the season even though it's nearly February.

Don't worry teams have a habit of turning around their poor form against Spurs

Lots of happy Hammers at the moment, good to see them in the top four but due to the huge disparity in games played it's all a bit meaningless at the moment, can't read too much into the table until the games played even out.

Pool's next 6 league games are lovely.

Spurs, WH, Brighton, Leicester, City, Everton. Eighteen points on a plate right there

edd_jedi I need a "****" emoticon! Lol

I am still amazed/disappointed Pool haven't signed a CB. I know they are skint, as most clubs are, but surely a loan deal or even a free transfer can't be beyond them!? If they play the rest of the season with Williams and yer beardie fella whose name I can never remember, as first/only back up to Matip and Fabinho that is bordering on negligent.

And Liverpool score in the 49th minute of the first half. Does anyone recall ever seeing four minutes of injury time in a first half!?

Well there are no positives to take from that load of ****. Our two centre backs just watch two crosses pass them by for tap ins. Son's excellent goal offside by a hair. Kane injured again, and him soldiering on for a bizarre amount of injury time resulted in a goal. And not to mention a team that apparently can't score for 7 hours putting away three in 10 minutes. Pretty much sums up being a Spurs fan

Liverpool scored their first goal after the second

I didn't see the game, couldn't face shite football v's Jose's entertainment sucking dross.

Son's goal did look ridiculously tight. It is "offside" by the letter of the law, but goals that tight are something the PL need to look at. I don't think many fans like seeing them disallowed for an arm/armpit/toe/pube being offside.

Saying that, by my reckoning, that is the first VAR decision to go for Pool this season. They have had a soft pen confirmed against WH but the ref gave it and VAR just confirmed it. I can't think of any other time where VAR has been involved and Pool and come out advantaged. Twas nice to see. Though obliviously VAR then had to even it up by disallowing Firmino's goal (rightly).

Pretty pish defending for the 1st goal. One of Dier/Lloris needs to deal with it, probably Dier. The second, Lloris needs to put it ANYWHERE but straight at TAA and the third Rondon should be dealing with that all day. I saw somewhere "Liverpool ended the game with Henderson and Nat Phillips at centre-half yet the latest shot Tottenham had was Hojbjerg's 48th-minute goal."
That's why I hate Jose and his safety first football. That is two of Liverpool's 5th/6th/7th choice CB's (depending on how you rank those two and Rhys Williams) yet Spurs went almost an entire half without a shot!? If ever a team's CB pairing was screaming out to be tested...
Though I also saw something that said Spurs didn't complete a single pass within 20 yards of Liverpool's goal in the whole game. This is a Liverpool side with 1 goal in 5 games and the weakest CB pairing of any PL side.

As for Kane's injury, It probably influenced the outcome but is anyone surprised? He insist on playing almost every game when fit. Both for Spurs and England. He has hardly had summer off in years. His managers should have been telling him to wise up and sit on the bench in irrelevant games rather than letting him play. He will end up like Rooney, 32yrs old and slower than Phil Jagielka. Sad to see.
Maybe if Spurs brought back Ericson and played him every week then Kane could continue to claim his goals and his chances of winning the golden boot wouldn't be hindered by being benched. After all when you claim and get given a goal you didn't touch, it's not much of a stretch to claim a goal you didn't touch........cos you weren't on the pitch!? lol

Apparently (I saw this on Twitter so feel free to take it with a huge pinch of salt) Liverpool have now had more goals disallowed by VAR this season than any side had disallowed last season, we're just over half way through.

I know we have 1 season of VAR to base that comparison on, but it does surprise me that they have surpassed it already.

That just show's you how many you should have had disallowed last season that were given! lol

Lol. Yeah, totally! That's what won the league for Pool! Lol

From memory VAR made 2pts difference to Pool last season. Someone Random like Brighton, were the biggest beneficiaries, gaining about 8pts, and I think Norwich were the most disadvantaged, losing about the same number of pts.

I saw that. Given we now have no fit CB's as Matip has broken AGAIN.....I would ALMOST take him. As long as it's a 6 month contract and he promises nt to be utter utter shite.

Anyone see the pen Saints were denied against Villa yesterday? Mike Dean on VAR decided it wasn't a pen. So far I havent seen a single person who agrees with him.

Ramos is available weasel I know you love him, great player who will use Man Utd to get a big contract and Real Madrid, although he's 35 and would look like a fish out of water in the PL.

Not seen the Villa game, I did watch the Copa libertadores final. That was entertaining, pretty much 22 Neymar's on the pitch, every time the ball went out of play there seemed to be a couple of minutes of scuffling, then Palmeiras scored a 99th minute winner, just after the Santos manager had been sent off to the stands to watch the game with all the fans!!! Very entertaining, good goal as well. lol

Not much fun being a Spurs fan at the moment. Liverpool score three goals in 10 minutes after going 5 hours without scoring any. Last night Brighton play 'their best game for two years' according to their manager. Their only home win this season, and apparently the only game they have won all season after scoring first. Could teams stop turning up against Spurs please!?

Saying that, we were rubbish. Son may as well not be on the pitch without Kane. Jose keeps playing a completely different back four every match and wonders why we can't defend. Sissoko in right back!? There's no point resting/rotating your squad if you lose every match, might as well play your strongest 11 for as long as you can until they all burn out. Looks like we're doomed this season.

I saw him saying he could go to Man Utd, again. He tried that **** a few years ago, six months after Ronaldo tried it, and Utd fell for it with both players. They are just using them to try and get a new/better contract. Utd should just publicly say they have no interest in and leave him high and dry at Madrid. He would be a liability in the PL anyway. Too old to learn new tricks and his ego is always a lot bigger than his ability.

I saw the BBC sports thing saying that they were amazed by the line up, they reckoned that no other Spurs fan would have picked that team. Not sure 5 at the back, against Brighton is needed, but you all know my opinion on Jose anyway.
Jose's tactics did revolve around being hard to break down/sitting deep and relying on Kane and Son to do something special. It worked for a while too. But with those 2 being responsible for so many of Spurs goals it was asking for trouble when one got injured.

United wont come out and say they don't want Ramos because the chumps on the board and owners think its a good idea to get him!
