Premier League 2012/13 Discussion Thread

Think the chimp will score today and the press will cream themselves claiming he's as good as Messi. Think spurs will win - a load of Yorkshire spurs fans on the train here thinking the same.

Think the rent boys will feel whisky nose's backlash (ooer). 4 - 1 to the scum.

As for Blackburn Millwall, would like the dense Lancashire berks to beat the cockney racists!

Get yer bets on!

If you're free at at any point fella, do you fancy giving a talk at my son's school on social intergration

If Chelsea played consistantly in the league, like they did second half, they would win it at a canter.
They were bloody awesome.

Wigan must be rubbing their hands together. In a one off game, they can beat most teams, as yesterday proved

Been a while since I posted in this thread so here are my latest musings.

Nani's red card - I still haven't seen it but the concensus seems to be it was a bit harsh. But, apparently Raphael handled one on the line and got away with. Either way ABOUT ****ING TIME Utd got a few decisions going against them. It truly could not have happened to a more deserving club! And yes I did laugh, A LOT when I heard.

Utd Chelsea Fa cup tie - Total game of two halves. First half Chelsea were playing like it was an exhibition match. Second half they really should have won it. Blinding save De Gea. That has probably won the tie for Utd. I fancy them to win at the Bridge as Chelsea are pish at home plus they have 201 games to play in the next 2 months.

Pool Spuds league - A draw may well have been a fair result. After Pool scored Spuds woke up and bossed the game. Two bits of comical defending helped Pool out no ends. It's just nice to see Liverpool benefit from comical defending having outplayed so many of the 'big' teams this season and managed to hand them goals.

FA Cup semi final draw - I watched it with a Utd supporting mate and we agreed it was a no win situation. If the big sides Chelsea/Utd and City were kept apart you had two semi finals that were as much a banker as it's possible to get. With the big sides drawn against each other who ever wins that will walk the final. Sure it's nice to see a different side in the final but can anyone (bar Utd fans) tell me they enjoyed the FA cup final where Utd played Milwall a however many years ago? Or this season's Carling cup final?

Yeah, as I'd heard, a harsh red but Fergy's reaction is brilliant!

Now he knows how all those opposition managers have felt after they have been robbed at OT. Slap it right up you, you sour faced auld ****!

Not PL but what the hell are Milan doing trying to defend for 90 mins against Barca? First 20 mins are we've never left the edge of the Milan box and they're 1-0 down. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Missed most the game last night, bloody training for a season that should have ended 3 weeks ago! Heard Barca were pretty impressive though.
Milan were caught between a rock and a hard place. At 2-0 up and going to the Nou Camp you would be mad to go on the attach. That pitch is massive and that Barca team is so good that you would get ripped apart. But at the same time, parking the bus and trying to defend for 90 mins is also madness. Pretty sure a good few other sides have tried that in the last few years, and bar a very lucky Chelsea and an equally fortunate Inter under Mourinho, not many have managed it.

AC are also a very mediocre side. Whoever got them in the next round would have been rubbing their hands with glee. As close as you'll get to a gimme when it comes to CL 1/4's.

Any predictions for tonight?
I can see Bayern having a field day against an under strength Arsenal. Sad to say, but I don't see Arse coming away with anything other than a hiding

Thank god my reverse psychology worked! I knew the Arsenal boys would be reading this and would be motivated to prove me wrong!
Otherwise i'd look pretty silly right about now! Lol

Was it a good game, i just saw stoppage time.
