Is there anything that can be done about this :?

I had a one seller recently charges over £4.00 and he sent it franked 2nd class letter in a plain envelope with no bubble, what a twat!

i think the seller has a right to charge (within reason) what he wants, if you dont like it dont pay it, just drop his star rating down, but i wouldn't leave a negative, you see the price, you pay it.

now Royal Mail have gone up again, anything not a large letter goes with them.
although I hear royal mail prices are coming down again for parcel sizes to compete.

Yes, but you don't know if you've been overcharged till it arrives do you? LIke chazb73 says, you pay £5 shipping thinking, 'well that's dear but i'm sure it'll be sent well packed 1st class recorded delivery' and then it arrives wrapped in tissue paper sent 2nd class for 60p. Sorry that's out of order and would get begged every time. If sellers intentionally (significantly) overcharge for postage they deserve a neg. Especially if you contact them asking for the difference they conned from you to be told "you're a cheeky bastard". I'd neg him and phone ebay to get my money back.

If I'm charged £5 and it has cost that amount to send ie good padded envelope, 1st class recorded £4.10 fine, no problem.
It's the dicks that get me, 67p crap packaging charged a fiver
