My predictions last year were spot on. I also had Man Ure out of the CL the year before. So this year..... I'll probably be ****

But.............

look at City. Aging squad, wasted £50million on an inconsistent player. their only saving grace is that Pellegrini is sacked before the Christmas transfer window and they spend millions to crash into the top 4.

I don't see the fuss about Cech going to Arsenal personally, a great keeper can save you the odd point but can't win games or make up for a **** defence, as Spurs have proved for about the last 5 seasons. If a great keeper was all it took, Spurs would be fighting for top spot too.

I think that player vs player, Lloris is probably a better keeper than Cech (surprised we've still got him TBH), but and this is a big but, Cech knows what to do to drive the best from a defence and how that defence should be organised in training in order to win a PL title and/or other associated silverware in England. Lots of training ground chatter coming out of the Arse that says he's taken a large part in re-vamped defensive coaching sessions and is organising his defence how he wants it to work for him; which given his age and experience doesn't seem too far fetched.

Lloris has only ever been the best player behind the midfield since he's been at Spurs, the remaining four being beyond useless more often than not and that's left him very little to work with/alongside. Hopefully Anderwield and maybe even Yedlin can start to show a change for Spurs in that area...

The comparison is difficult (even as a Spurs fan) for me to defend, Spurs squad quality/ability problems compared to the Arse are a lot greater than a keeper, but the introduction of a keeper (of Cech quality) for them is a massive signing.

I suppose I should do this myself.

1) City
2) Chelsea
3) Arsenal and then a distant United
4) Spuds/Pool with very little between them and then probably Saints or Swansea if Saints struggle with the European aspect
6) Villa (lost their 3 best/least **** players and they were ****ing shite last year), Watford and Norwich
7) Aguero
8) Cech possibly. Though Lambert looks a good fit at WBA
9) Falcao to defend his title. I suspect Benteke will run him close
10) Ranieri or Bilic
11) Chelsea
12) Utd
13) Liverpool will be complete wild horses. Either amazing if Benteke and Firmio click. Or they could be utterly shite if, as I suspect, Beneteke turns out to be a new Andy Carroll. Man United to get a cuchy CL group, does that count as a prediction or is it just accepted as a given?

Finally, a non PL one,

14) Heart say Barca, but no one defends the CL so Bayern.

Good point about knowone retaining the CL, but surely that can't go on for ever?

Can't see Man Utd getting easy draw for group stages as we wont be among top seeds, that's if we get their.

I've thought Barca would defend the CL the last two times they won it, but they didn't. Eventually someone will defend it. Probably someone who isn't a patch on the Barca sides who've won it, or the current Bayern side. I wouldn't be surprised to see Barca win it, but I just fancy someone to get lucky and knock them out.

I think Utd are now England's 4th side in the seedings/rankings?
They do always land on their feet in the CL draws though. Saying that the year they came last in their group they had a complete gimme. They should have won all 6 games. It was FC Copenhagen, sporting (possibly) and some other middle ranking side.

Me too! can't see beyond Man City for the title, and Sunderland are terrible. Some exciting results!

Exactly what I was thinking about City and Sunderland. The three teams I tipped to go down will probably finish in the top half. :?

Just had a look at your predictions- Hammers to go down?! Think us and Leicester will be ok. Still think being in the Premier may catch up with Bournemouth after Christmas though. Would never have predicted Chelsea's start!

I think if anyone finishes above Man City, the title will be theirs.

Yeah the whole West Ham prediction was more of a wish really, got nothing against the club. Just disappointed that big Sam got pushed out, seems to have been a good move though.

I think Leicester and Bournemouth could still struggle, Bournemouth have struggled to pick up points already really. It's still really early though think your right about someone finshing above City wins the league.
