OK, slightly more objective review coming up
Firstly, Poch's team choice - what the **** is Harry Winks doing on the starting line up of one of the biggest games of the season? Sorry, that just reeks arrogance, there are far better players available in the squad. You don't experiment in games like this. And why is Danny Rose all of a sudden back in favour? We were playing much better without him thanks. He bought Lamela and Son on way too late, at least one of them should have started.
Secondly, I'll go out on a limb and say Liverpool were lucky. I don't know which game the commentators were watching, but IMO Spurs had more decent chances. Both Liverpool goals were soft, the second could have gone anywhere. Lamela's late goal was better than both, and Moura and Kane both missed absolute sitters earlier in the game. I think a draw would have been a more accurate reflection of the game based on the fact Spurs were much better in the first half and Liverpool better in the second.
Michel Vorm is utter ****, Spurs have been at a massive disadvantage in their last two games. Any keeper who punches away a set piece and then concedes the rebound deserves it, either catch the ball or stay away. You could say bad luck played a part in the second goal and Liverpool certainly don't deserve any credit for it, but I don't think Lloris would have let it go through his hands.
Finally, why only 5 minutes added time when Firmino spent 15 minutes crying on the floor for a flick on the cheek? It was a bit embarrassing to see Liverpool time wasting with half an hour left. I'm not saying Spurs could have drawn with a couple more minutes, but it certainly would have helped.
Saying all that, I expected to lose this match so am more annoyed at the way we lost it rather than the fact we did. On the positive side, Lucas Moura is still looking very dangerous, much more than Kane at the moment.
