would be interesting to hear some Spurs opinions.

With the current squad, I'm more concerned about losing players than bringing in new ones. I'm not convinced by Aurier or Sanchez, I would swap both of them for having an in-form Alderweireld back. And I genuinely think Trippier is better than Walker was. I can't really think of anybody realistic of signing I would rather have up front. And our midfield isn't bad right now either. I wouldn't mind if Alli and Rose went to be honest, both have peaked already IMO.

That's the first major trophy in the bag for City.

Jose counts the Charity shield. That was part of his "treble".
The worst, most pathetic "treble" the world has ever seen.

I see he's gurning again. How any player manages to stick playing under him I do not know.
I'd have my agent phoning every club with 100 miles offering to play for them for free to get away from his soul destroyingly negative BS

To be honest with you I think he's loosing the plot a bit. Some of the stuff he's coming out with, at the moment he's one of the best managers so far this centuary. Doesn't matter what you think about him that's a fact, but if he refuses to evolve his methods, then I think he's going to struggle.

You would think a lot of players wouldn't want to play for him but it's amazing how many do, Willian has just come out and said he want's go play for him again one day!

Well that's pretty much us under 100% Kronke control on paper, obviously has pretty much been all him for some time though

So Tottenham are luckier than Arsenal eh? :D

I saw that. Utd the luckiest team in the league, well, I never! Saying that the fact Pool were apparently the unluckiest means the idiot Pool fans will bleat on about that and make all Pool fans look like spanners. There's as much chance of Utd finishing as the unluckiest team this year, it's just random chance.

I do agree Jose has been a very successful manager. He plays horrible football, but it is effective, albeit as interesting as watching paint dry.
I agree he needs to change his methods. That's one thing that set Fergy apart, his teams evolved and played different ways over the years. Jose only seems to know one way and his constant 'them against us' thing really grates. It seems to get to the players as well. It's his third season at Utd and he's never seen out 3 yrs a club before, so I suspect we are seeing the beginning of the end. He has a point in that Utd's transfer activity since Kenyon(?) left along with Fergy has been haphazard at best, down right shite at worst. BUT Jose has had mega bucks to spend and yet he still wants more. He has bought two CB's for over 30 million, but apparently he needs another one.
Most managers make the best of what they have, Jose gurns, demands new signings and then throws people under the bus when things go badly.

I'm looking forward to when Utd sack the tosser and I never have to see his horrible brand of footy or his sour face again.

Ps, I love Jose

Thing is Jose will not change absolutely no chance. As for the signings recently they have generally been average at best. That said Jose has made some good signings and I still think he needs this season to be given a fair crack of the whip. The money that's been spent is erelavent to me, you either pay it or someone else will, it's how you manage them and he's struggling with man management.

The writing is on the wall IMO, City and probably Liverpool will start better, the fans will start making negative noise towards him and we know what happens then. Him and Pogba in the dressing room is worrying, the only 2 men with bigger egos are Trump and Putin!

Arsenal situation is interesting, perhaps they may have some ambition if he takes full control.

Your thoughts on Pogba to Barca?

I can't get my head round why Barca would want him. He's a good player but he's never looked 95million good. That may be partly Jose's system but still I think Barca could spend the money a lot more wisely.

As for Kronke at Arsenal, from what I've read he is a bit like the Glazier's. He tends to draw money out of a club rather than invest in it.

I think he'll do better at Barca than under Bourinho but I also think his agent is a **** of a human being and is probably stirring the pot to get another bonus

None of his US based teams do particularly well although as I understand it they all make money so perhaps that is what to expect, mid table mediocrity and a healthy payout to Stan every quarter

Pogba can go as far as I'm concerned, ok he's quality but like you say he's never a £95 million player, although in the present climate he probably is. That sort of money the player needs to be weighing in with more goals. I'm resigned to the fact he is going to leave soon anyway, if he turned up week in week out then I would have a different view, but half the time he struts around like he's Zidane and he's not even close to that level.

Looks like we should be holding on to De Gea, which is the best signing so far for Utd.

I think Arsenal fans should have some optimism if the deal goes through, anything is better than the total lack of ambition the board have now.

EVERY agent is like that. Every time a player moves they get a commission for "negotiating" the deal. Judging by the Emre Can farce the agent can get £5/10/15 million for a routine deal. For something like the fee being discussed for Pogba you can probably triple that. I understand players aren't the sharpest and don't want to be exploited in negotiations, plus you can't always ask or trust what the guys in the changing room say they are on. So agents have a role in football, but the current situation is an utter farce. Why clubs haven't got together and agreed to stop paying agents and that the agents fees should come out of the players pockets is beyond me. Also FIFA/UEFA/the FA should step in to limit how much agents can charge. They are leeches who add NOTHING to football and only suck money out of it.

I completely agree, their slice should be from the players wages, be it 5/10/15% or whatever and the transfer fee should be exactly that a fee from club a to club b for the services of the player, no hidden extras

Spurs are the first club since the summer window was introduced in 03 not to sign anyone during the summer.

Either very brave and you have a lot of good kids coming through, or a ****ing daft idea.

Jose didn't get his signing. Poor Jose. Though it may suit him as he can try his "us against the world" BS that he pulls every single time.

Everton spunking a lot of money on fairly unproven players. You thought they would have learnt after last summer.

I'm hoping the Jose thing is a smoke screan and we're going to blow everyone away will attacking football.............
