After Spurs beating City and Chelsea struggling I think the Premeirship is up for grabs this season and I include Liverpool in that!

Ehhh, HOW drunk were you last night?

liverpool wont win **** all with brenda and welsh xavi lol, rodgers hid behind the suarez-sturridge combo for a season, now he is exposed, he is inept and clueless.

No beers last night but had a couple tonight so gonna say Spurs have got a chance as well. :?

Liverpool are only 5 points behind Man Utd and we will probably loose on Sunday so the gap could be 2 points after the weekend. So your basically saying City have won the league already. I'm telling you now Liverpool have got a chance still, it's so early still. :)

Good old Jose. The reason Chelsea are struggling is referees wont give them free kicks and penalties. Totally Jose. Spot on. That's the entire reason you have 8 pts from 8 games. No blame lies at your door or that of your players. Totally cos the referees are picking on you.

Classless wanker.

Yeah that interview just made him look like he's loosing the plot big time.

Have to say I have never been a Jose fan - his arrogance has almost been replaced with fear and it is just a shame that none of the other managers have the personality to exploit this as it would make for great TV

I think Roman will stick with him because of what he has achieved - but right now that Chelsea team is very beatable. Think City will move away now - United are over-performing and I can still see Van Gaal struggling with the players if results go against him. Watched Palace earlier and together with Southampton they are going to have a good season - as are Leicester on current form -which will only make for a much better (competitive) Premiership

So, ehhhh what are these European Championships all about? I've heard rumours but I assumed they were just that.

Topping the group from the 5th pool of seeds, I THINK that's the first time that's happened. 8)

Ohh and Kyle Lafferty wants Brazil or Argentina in our group.

Ps, Fair play to Wales on making it as well.

Yeah I'm really looking forward to Euro 2016 now with some home nations in it, shame Scotland didn't qualify.

Yeah great for Wales and Northern Ireland - and even more impressive considering it looks like Holland won't even qualify

Have to feel for Scotland - that was a really tough group

Having watched the Republic give a fantastic demonstration of brutal 90's aimless hoofball last night, i'm amazed they finished above Scotland. Poland are very ordinary, bar Lewandowski, amd were shitting themselves last night. The Republic looked horribly devoid of ideas and had zero bite uofront once shane long went off. Even he looks no kore than a very willing worker at International level. The lack of guile and penetration in midfield was horrendous.

I'm looking forward to the Euros as well, I even give England a good chance of getting past the group stages.

Steady on now. Let's see who they get first.

You've more chance than NI do though, i'll give you that. I expect we'll be seeded last

Horrible game between Spurs and Liverpool, one of the scrappiest I've seen for ages. Spurs especially were terrible for the first 30 minutes, they just looked out of practice and lazy. A draw is fair but would have preferred a better game. Harry Kane seems to be going through a Soldado patch, plenty of opportunities but it's just not happening, needs some good fortune.

Only saw the MOTD highlights, looked like Spurs were the better side. Two sides who'll do everything in their power to avoid the CL.

I saw MOTD too and didn't think it was a very accurate reflection of the game, in fact they only showed about 2 minutes of it! I know it was a goalless draw but was easily the biggest game of the weekend with Klopp joining, should have had more screen time and analysis. Spurs were wide open for the first half hour, both teams could have scored a few.

Ehhhh "analysis"? From Alan ****ing Shearer? You'd get better analysis from my Granny and she's been dead for 6 years.

The level of Analysis on MOTD is woeful. It gets worse and worse every year. WHY O WHY do they insist on employing has been PL players. Sky are only marginally better. Bar Neville and possibly Carragher.

Football punditry and pre/post most analysis seems to be the exclusive preserve of ex-players or ex-managers (who tend to be ex-players anyway), and I just don't get why. Gazettta Football Italia was brilliant. I don't remember James Richardson being a player. Ditto Guillem Balague on the Spanish footy. Gabriel Marcotti on the radio is brilliant. But instead we get some retard who once "played" for Leicester/Derby and is more concerned about his hair than anything else. Yes, Robbie I'm looking at you. Or Ian "Is that a bandwagon? Mind if I jump on?" Wright, who is just so poor that whoever employed him should be shot. It's beyond a sackable offence.

Rant over.

Haha agreed, add 'neutral' to his middle names too, only seems interested when Arsenal are playing. I find commentators the same, they don't add any value, it's literally just saying the obvious. Michael Owen saying "he should have scored that." No **** Sherlock! If the players on the pitch had a birdseye view, super slow motion and the ability to turn back time they'd probably have scored it too.

Agreed.
I actually didn't mind him too much as a player. I gained respect for him when he came out and said he hated Scousers. Fair play for being honest. Every time he goes to Anfield he gets called every name under the sun for 90 mins. Who the **** would like that? Full marks to him for not coming out with the usual "it's all part of the game" or "I don't really hear it" BS.

He did play Utd though, so still a ball bag!

Bob on. Been saying the same for years. The 'experts' talk about basic stuff, they pick up small moments but don't talk about the actual game or have any understanding of why a team decided to drop three regulars and counter. Getting well educated journos who get the background story, they place the tactical events of the game and the players PoV into context. It happens everywhere else, just not on the bbc. There's no need to give cash to ex players. All these guys must be millionaires, at least MOTD have stopped putting every Manu or Liverpool game as top billing. It was funny to see Spurs v Liverpool on last.. I also like when pundits disagree, have opposing views. Jimmy hill v terry venables was a classic battle.. Now it's hairless safety talk. "He kicked it well.. It went in. It was great. He did it last week. I can't pronounce his name. Haha. "
