Pete Gowdy's Predictions League 2012/13

It's that time again!

Some of you have played the full (Premier League) Predictions League before and several others played the Euro 2012 Predictions League (in fact, 2 of the 3 winning positions went to swf.ukers!)

It's pretty simple. All done by email. I send out fixtures each week, like this:

Saturday 18th September
Arsenal - Aston Villa
Everton - Man Utd
Liverpool - QPR.. etc

And you fill them in with your guesses and return them. Like this:

Saturday 18th September
Arsenal 2-0 Aston Villa
Everton 1-2 Man Utd
Liverpool 1-1 QPR.. etc

You score 1 point for a correct result and 3 points for an exact result. There is also thhe inclusion of 38 wild cards to be used throughout the season. Scores are doubled for WC guesses.

- It's £25 to play. ALL entry money goes towards prize money (paid to top 3).

- So if you're keen get back asap and let me know you're in. If you have any friends who wish to play then just get their email address and pm me.

- The season kicks-off on the 18th August (16 days time) and i will be sending out the first fixture list on the 14th (12 days time).

Yeah, first day's often tough. I had Stoke to win 1-0 which they were until they conceded a penalty in the last minute. :x Just a solitary point for me so far.

Don't worry, everyone's taken a bath this week. Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool, Man City all failing to win. Tough week to pick up points. 7 or 8 will win the week i reckon.

I have a grand total of 3 points this week and that was from a correct score - so of the 9 games so far I have had 1 right !

Yeah, I had 2-1 in that one and quite fancied my chances when they got it back to 1-1

Yeah, even at home against one of the worst teams in the league who played themselves ragged in midweek in the worthless cup and who only had 10 men for a portion of the game... i should have known better. :lol:

Yeah Weaz is well ahead on 8 points. I think one other guy has 7 but everyone else is on 2, 3, 4 with one player on 5.
