More trouble on Rebelscum then!

Yes it's a bit rich for somebody who obviously has an interest in collecting Star Wars toys to start slating which ones other collectors like. 99% of the population probably think you're weird for spending money on little plastic men too.

The dude is simply a **** stirrer. Who cares what people collect and what they pay. Ultimately an item is worth whatever someone is prepared to pay. I love this forum for its diversity and the guys (and gals) passion for each different area.
I love bootlegs...always have and not just Star Wars bootlegs, there's some awesome He-Man bootlegs out there. It's not an area of focus for me but I love seeing the latest additions on this forum from the guys that do.

Some people collect sw erasers and empty yogurt containers. To each his own. It's all vintage and is worth the price people are willing to pay. Some of the bootleg collectors scoff at guys who collect normal production Kenner stuff because it is boring and common. No need for you to piss on someone elses parade. BTW....AFA Cases do not increase the beauty of an item......case in point...."U" Graded vehicles....but then again if you find them sexy...have at it.

I love Uzay and hope to add a couple of examples one day, a few talking points around a main collection, interesting variants etc in my mind it's that sort of added value that make a collection all the more unique. What's the word.. Provenance? It's the story behind them that adds the value, I think they look awesome regardless I mean as someone said, we all find the beauty in 3in high plastic space monsters so why as a collector can you see the appeal in a Klaatu and not in a headman? Which is cooler?? Seriously! It's a no brainier for me. I think the point is though...each to their own.

As an aside, I wonder how that guy who flew to Turkey knew he wasn't being stitched up... How do you tell a fake is not a fake fake but just a fake :) . If it were me, I'd have been very twichy, they must have cost a fortune and I reckon an Uzay must be far easy to fake than a genuine Kenner etc. Hope they don't turn out to have been conned.

British wit is a serious point dipped in a thick sauce of sarcasm. Some people just can't handle the spicy taste.

I still don't see how anyone can look at a Polish bootleg and not think it looks like crap. If you don't then I would ask you to stop sucking on the lead paint. They are only rare because no ****er wanted them, melted down or thrown away.

Lets face it, if our 7yr old selves had woken up Christmas morning with those under the tree we would all have cried into our bowl of Frosties.

**** off you MONG!!!

Just bought my first ever bootleg today - this could be the turning point of a dangerous obsession :)

You could always rub a freshly opened Tie Fighter Pilot under your arms for that Berry Fresh fragrance!
