Is Jar Jar in it? If not, it can't be good! He's the best.

I'm waiting for Disney's stand alone Jar Jar movie for kids

We all know it's going to happen!!

I doubt Disney could evan make money out of that. :?

Hopefully they wouldn't be able to so won't even entertain the idea

Problem is, lots of people loved Jar Jar!!

Saw Age of Ultron last night. I was a bit disappointed TBH.

It's no more than your bog standard super hero/comic book movie. Some great special effects but the plot was pretty predictable and nothing new. TBH the whole thing was just a bit......meh.

It's not a bad film. If you like comic book or super hero movies you'll enjoy it and it did kill two hours quite well, but it's one of those films you watch and then forget about. Just more generic Hollywood dross, and the end credits did include a clip of what I assume is the next instalment

If they insist on flogging films like this to death could they not at least make Scarlett Johansson get her bloody tits out?

Yeap. I actually asked the missus if we could go after the SW trailer.

Sounds and looks great on the big screen. The X-wings over the water had me feeling like a kid again.

Yeah I bet it was amazing biggest thing I've seen it on is laptop.

I caught a glimpse of the first trailer on the TV and evan that was a lot better.

Couple of older ones that I've watched in the last couple of days for the first time via Sky:

Transformers Age of Extinction - Utter rubbish IMO, great effects, no doubt, but unbearably long and a real strain to define a story at all. Sadly I've felt the same about all the Transformers films  Kids got bored too, so not just me.

X-Men: Days of future past - a touch better than the above, but still poor and again relying so heavily on effects rather than story or even character to get through to the end... Kids slightly more focussed on this one, but they agreed it was the worst X-Men flick they remembered seeing so far.

Off to see the latest Avengers at the cinema this afternoon; fingers crossed it can make up for the two above's failings.

Watched Interstellar the other night. Thought it was ok the wife enjoyed it more than me I think, I liked the used universe approach. Worth a watch - 7/10.

Avengers Age of Ultron = Yeah, it was OK, certainly better than the last two (above) and the story did hang together and the effects were great... despite everything blowing up all the time, they oddly didn't seem to be over the top... if that is possible! the highlight of the cinema trip for me though was the trailer for Jurassic World! Can't wait!!! Terminator trailer... cheese fest alert, so once again.. can't wait!

Mad Max.....Ehhh pretty disappointing if I'm honest.

It's basically a two hour chase sequence. Literally. The plot is wafer thin and what dialogue there is, there are silent movies with more words in them, is pretty poor.
I don't mind a good chase scene and I always liked the sort of dystopian car chases and fights in the original MM movies, but after two hours of virtually incessant crashes and fights I was getting a tad bored. There are only so many ways you can kill off random cannon-fodder bad guys in car crashes and explosions before it starts to get a bit repetitive.
It's the sort of film you'll love if your 15 and like explosion, death and violence. Or if you want something to kill two hours that really doesn't require much thinking. I can't help but feel that they could have done so much more though. The originals were never Oscar material, but they were good films. This is just a two hour smash 'em up.

Saw Dune the over day.

It's quite a dated film in some respects, but I like the storyline with it's mix of religion and sci-fi.

Really need to get round to reading all the books
