latest film/ dvd you have seen

Watched Bad Grandad about two days ago, some bits were so funny I literally almost fell off the sofa laughing, sadly though these were few and far between. Would I recommend it, well if you have the time to waste or have other things to do in the background, go for it, if you want something to hold your attention the whole way through, steer well clear. Best bit by far was the strip show, just cringe and watch between the gaps in your fingers!

Loved bad grandpa, some very funny bits, lately i've watched a few movies, edge of tomorrow, good, definately worth a watch with an interesting storyline, lots of action to.
i'm a big muppets fan, so enjoyed their latest outing, still don't know about ricky gervais, hes in this, his humour just seems to pass me by, don't know what it is with him.
I bought the original evil dead on bluray, very nice print, a firm favourite of mine, i have had it on video, laserdisc, dvd, bluray and various collector sets, almost as many formats as i've had star wars
Lastly i watched the latest 'the thing' movie again, i really enjoyed it, some neat effects and a good storyline

Dirty Harry on TV last night. BAD ASS! :D

Eastwood 8) 8) classic....

I know what you're thinking. 'Did he fire six shots or only five'? Well to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, i kind of lost track myself. But being that this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well do ya, punk?

Just back from seeing Dawn of the Apes. A tad slow at the beginning but has a very good story to it. I would personally recommend it as I quite enjoyed it. Dont go with high expectations as I dont think it will meet them :)

Watched LEGO movie with the kids; seriously good film for a kids flick. I do have a love of LEGO anyway, but its filled with real fun elements, lots of more grown up jokes to keep parents interested and amused as well as a nice touching twist...
Think we might actually watch it again in the next few days! Not often I watch any film more than once (SW trilogy aside of course) :D

Agree, really enjoyed this movie, both Barkhad Abdi and Tom Hanks were outstanding

Finally gotten round to watching a couple of movies over the weekend.
I buy a lot of DVDs each month and never get round to watching them, must have 200 plus movies still in cellophane.

Did finally watch the Alan Partridge movie and Now they see us over the weekend. I love Partridge and did enjoy the movie. Now they see us was watchable, wasn't fantastic but watchable, always fancied Isla Fisher so she was worth the watch anyway.

I can't wait to see it. I love Marvel and this is essentially Marvel does Star Wars (or at least thats what the comics were like)

Have recently seen:

Planet of the apes, which I thought was very good...bit predictable, but very enjoyable.

Edge of tomorrow...which was...well...ok

Hercules, which was a good bit of mythical sword play

and Transformers, which wasn't as bad as i expected though a bit corny in places!

Took the family to see Guardians of the Galaxy. Very good and funny in places.if you know the comics even better, but very accessible if not. Great effects and cg characters. Some of it not great for great for young uns, starts on a bit of a downer....

Just been to see Guardians of the Galaxy. Missus wanted to see it and it was ****ing it down here so seemed like a good enough excuse for two hours peace and quiet.

Thought it was ok. I haven't read the comics and knew FA going in to see it. It killed two hours, but i doubt i'd ever watch it again. Watch and forget film.

bought a few more blurays, evil dead, looks good on blu, texas chainsaw 2013, looks good not a bad retelling of the story, and gremlins looks good and one of my favourite 80's movies.
