Game of Thrones is epic...

I am trying so hard to avoid reading the books so as to not ruin ant surprises coming in season 3...

Still hoping to Sean Bean come back as Starks ghost a la Kenobi style.

Don't - give in and read them, it'll take six months but worth it and in no way will it detract from the TV show, if anything it will heighten your anticipation :)

Just watched DARK KNIGHT RISES.

Thought JONNY DEPPS cameo as JOKER was awesome surprise.
(not really)

The Amazing Spiderman ••••

cheers , i am still on season one so no point warming to starks lol .

anyone watch sparticus ,been told to get this if i like game of thrones

Just finished watching This Means War, 21 Jump Street, Rampart and Contraband.

The first two are good fun films but mostly forgettable when done, a pleasant way to spend a few hours in front of the box, watch out for a great Jonny Depp cameo in Jump Steet (if you are a fan of 80 US TV shows it will mean more).

Rampart just tried too hard and to be honest got boring fast, good acting though, just pointless.

Contraband was watchable but again, nothing new as a heist film and in that area not the best, one to watch if nothing else is on I'd say.

I have been told Sparticus is a great watch. I have too fond memories of the original to give it a go though....

I AM SPARTICUS.....
No I'm Sparticus, I'm Sparticus, Hey I'm Sparticus
No I'm Sparticus, I'm Sparticus, Hey I'm Sparticus
No I'm Sparticus, I'm Sparticus, No I'm Sparticus
No I'm Sparticus, I'm Sparticus, No I'm Sparticus
No I'm Sparticus, I'm Sparticus, No I'm Sparticus

What a scene... still brings a tear to my eye

Just about to take the boy to see spiderman.............................................I'll let you know my verdict in a few hours :D

Just got back. Though it was good as a stand alone film although why they did a re-make rather than a continuation, I don' get.
Oh, and Andy Murry played Spiderman, which was a nice touch!

Gotta agree. Im not sure why they felt the need to remake the remake. I do think this was a better than the one that had the Goblin tho. 8)

I watched cabin in the woods.....it got rave reviews on the net, but tbh i thought it was a bag of arse.

I wont tell you the "twist" but its a weird one, you get a nice cameo from sigorney weaver though lol

In Time - great idea behind it, all humans are genetically engineered to only reach 25 years of age & then stop ageing so you stay 25 forever, trouble is then you only get another year to live & have to buy time but working for it, great concept & could have been one of the best new si fi in decades, sadly it is a little limited as they rushed through it & bit, still a great watch that had me hooked, but such a shame as they could have made so much more out of it, but ain't that the story with 99% of modern films
