Just watched Lawless. Took a little while to get into it and the bam, hooked, understated, violent, gritty and real, loved it.

Just watched Dredd, cracking fun, I had low expectations going in but really enjoyed it.
Also watched Superman v's the Elite. Normally I am a fan of the DC animated films but this one was a bit rubbish, firmly in the could do better pile.

Watched Fight Club again, and it is just as good as when I first saw it, love it,
wouldn't mind getting all my debt records reset!

Just watched the first 6 hours of 'Game of Thrones'. I love it!!!

game of thrones is awsome ,best series i have seen cant wait for season 2 to come out next month .spartacus is good as well but not as good as this

Watch the campaign last night, very enjoyable, consistently funny well worth an hour and a half.

The Artist ***½
Charming and watchable but not the classic it was made out to be. Just a very unique and original idea well delivered. A 'must see' if not a 'must see again'.

Moon ****
Would have been an all time classic but for a slightly weak ending. Masterfully directed and shot and well acted by Sam Rockwell. A must for all sci-fi fans.

Little Children ***½
Very good and surprisingly watchable film about 2 lonely, estranged spouses from separate marriages who develop a relationship while on play-dates with their children and embark on a seedy affair. Meanwhile a local sex-offender has a whole town on edge.

Public Enemies ***
Watchable but simplistic and not particularly interesting portrayal of one of Americas most notorious gangsters. Tells us more about the chase of said character rather than going into who he was and why leaving a bit of a hollow feel to the proceedings. Still, lots of shoot-outs and car chases keep it moving and the performances are decent enough.

The Tree of Life ½
Without doubt THE most boring and insufferable movie i have ever attempted to watch in my life. And i AM NOT exaggerating. Give it a try, i dare you. If you're lucky you'll die of boredom half way through. I must confess i turned it off after an hour.... because NOTHING had happened. I mean nothing. Barely any dialogue even. I'm not even sure i t is possible to get through this and i am very patient. Utter tripe. AVOID!

Watched the Sweeny film last night - LOVED IT. Totally stupid but a lot of fun.. Da daa da daa da da da...

predators - what a **** film! from start to finnish! and lawrence fishburne makes a cameo for goodness sakes and dies straight away! ........4/10

started watching the descendants with george clooney other night .really didnt want to but it is a really good film look forward to watching rest and from what i have seen i would recommend it

strange days (1995) quirky thriller, considering it was written by james cameron it was quite disapointing 6/10

Saw Ted last night, not my friend but the movie...... nothing to write home about, had some funny bits here and there but no real laugh out load moments. Being a family guy fan I had hoped for more and there were the expected star wars references, which are actually the bits I remember most, so says a lot really :)

Saw "ted" the other week. Not too bad. As you say, not the greatest but it kills two hours. Pretty formulaic, but I've seen a lot worse.

Saw Cowboys And Aliens the other day, was pleasantly surprised; everyone I'd talked to who's seen it said it was **** but it was actually ok, not amazing but what do want?
The 'cowboy' bits at the beginning were especially good and it was nice to see Harrison Ford play a baddie!
Also saw a another Daniel Craig film: Dream House. Again, it's pretty much a B-movie, but was quite entertaining, nice premise, all in all a good little film.

Dredd

I could go on endlessly about how this is one of the best films i have seen in years, and about the excellent comic/movie cross over.

If you haven't seen it and if you know just a bit about Judge Dredd then you should watch this film. Forget the stupid ass Stallone 1995 version - this is the real deal. It's hardcore, true grit, ultra-violent brilliance. As far as i'm concerned this movie sticks rigidly to the essence of what being a judge in Mega City One is about. It's a violent and sick place with innocents caught up between Justice and all the ills of man.

Karl Urban does for Judge Joseph Dredd what Val Kilmer did for Jim Morrison, or what Johnny Depp did for Hunter S. Thomson - he IS Dredd!

Watched Paranormal Activity 3 the other day

Don't normally watch films like this as don't like scary films (I know what a big Jessie  )

Anyway if this is meant to be scary, I found it pretty tame and a bit boring in parts.

Basically the last half hour or so of the film is tense and quite disturbing and played on my mind, which didn't help me sleep much that night. If the film was like this all the way through it would be very good, sadly it isn't. Score 5/10.

All paranormal activity films are like that, the ending is the best part in the whole movie. Definitely a waste of time to watch. I enjoyed ParaNorman  better then any of those activity crap. Lol

Django Unchained = Awesome, i'd go as far to say one of Tarantino's best.

Also watched Skyfall at the weekend, not the best. I problem is other films do the genre better...Bourne, Taken, Mission Imp etc...

And not to forget Deadfall, olivia wilde we need to see more of her
