latest film/ dvd you have seen

Took the wife to the cinema last night to see Devil. Always liked M Night Shyamalan (even the happening but not that awful one about the woman in the swimming pool  !) and I was looking forward to it and i'm glad to report it didn't dissapoint.

Even the mrs enjoyed it and she thought it would be a pile of wank.

Good story that stayed truthful to the premise that it had built up for the past 70 minutes and also another good thing was that it was all done and dusted within 90 minutes. Don't get me wrong, I love a good 3 hour film but its quite refreshing nowadays to see a film that's only an hour and a half long

saw 'The Town' last night. Really good film.

Not Ben Affleck's biggest fan by a long shot but thought this was worth a shot after the last film he directed, Gone Baby Gone, which also was a very good film. Good cast with Pete Posthelwaite playing a horrible bastard and Jeremy Renner who I haven't seen in a bad film yet.

Took the wife and she enjoyed it. Good amount of action and drama. Have heard it being compared to Heat which I can understand but I don't think it is as good but it definitely gives it a good go.

Expendables and Machette.. enjoyed Expendables much more than Machette but Jessica Alba is fit as ****.

Watched 'The Losers' last night. It's kind of like the A-Team with balls. Good fun but not to be taken too seriously.

I just watched Piranha, Some of the scenes looked quite realistic, only saw in 2D but it wasnt that bad

next time i go cinema though will be for saw VII

Just watched the latest Tron film.
It's ok, made as much sense as the original really.
The bird in it is stunning though. The missus was getting severly pissed off at me perving every time that bird was on screen.

Been a while since anyone's contributed to this post.

Saw Limitless last week and enjoyed it. Was a bit worried with the beginning but it developed really well and had a very surprising ending. The wife enjoyed it too

Also watched countless films this week as haven't been working much:
Airheads - love it :D
Clerks - great debut film from Kevin Smith
Clerks II - a very underrated sequel that really surprised me
The Shining - the book is by far one of the best i've ever read and I love the film
Children of Men - surprises me just how good the film really is
Casino - love it but the end still makes me feel sick!
The Warriors - classic

Seen all of them a million times before but these are what i've watched in the last 4 days

Checked these films out recently

Battle for Los Angeles -Brilliant
Paul - average comedy
Disaster movie - Terrible ****
An idiot abroard -   funny ****
Expendables - Classic sly stuff

Never seen disaster movie - makes you think what they expected from it when given its title?!

You liked the Expendables Browny? I thought it was so poor. I'd seen the A-Team the week before at the cinema and I really enjoyed it but thought the Expendables was so ****. The 'storyline' made me laugh and it kind of made me wish that Stallone would just give up now before he ruins any kind of credibility he has left!

I remember when I got my leg tattoo'd last year the tattooist told me how she had an 18yr old lad in the chair the week before getting the Expendables logo on his arm and she nearly refused to do it because even she thought the film was so bad

Hmmmm

i just watched , inception and although annoyed by the fact that di caprio is in it ,, it was good but not amazing.

then i watched

Blazing Saddles and monthy pythons search for the holy grail and washed it down with fear and loathing in las vegas,, which has to be one of my all time favourites,,, a plot which i relate to.
