Just saw Hobbitt, amazing. Very similar to the LoTR in style you'd think they'd filmed all 6 together. No probs for a kid. I cant even remember the swear words, my 9 year old didnt either I hope!

Ted. Watched it last night. Also Micky Flanagan's 2011 DVD. It was funny ass fu*k. Also watched Franky Boyle's Last days of Sodom which was also hilarious.

I saw The Life of Pi last night at the cinema. The film itself was really good but my first 3D experience made me never want to watch another 3D film again as long as i live! I couldn't believe how poor the quality was. Made the film nearly unwatchable. I have nothing to compare it to but was assured by those i was with that 3D doesn't usually look like that. I just can't believe they can get away with it. It was like watching a bad pirate copy. I assumed 3D films now would be really advanced and crystal clear, or at least AS clear as regular 2D films just with the added 3D effect. But in terms of visual quality this was 4 or 5 times worse than a regular film would look. Everything not at the very forefront of the shot was really blurry. Tho worse than blurry, more like double-vision. You could kind of see 2 of everything. Like everything was ghosted. Hard to explain but everyone i was with agreed it was pretty horrible. Such a shame as i think either done properly, or just in 2D, the film would have looked amazing. Will have to see it again on DVD to find out.
Anyone else seen this? Can you confirm if you had the same experience? It did cross my mind that maybe the 'reel' at the cinema i was at was broken. It really was that bad.

Anyway, i give the film 3.5 out of 5
The 3D 0 out of 5

Watched Prometheus the other day, really liked it! Just watched Gran Turismo again. **** thats a good film!!

Watched Masters of the Universe from the 80s with my son. He has all the He-Man cartoons and loves them so was expecting him to enjoy it. What a pile of ****. Can't remember it being that bad!

Watched the Hobbit yesterday, ****ing class. Makes LoTR look like a boring pile of ****. I even enjoyed the 3D!

Glad you enjoyed it mate but I didnt think it was anywhere near as good as LOTR. Its was very slow times particulary in the house and with Gollum :)

Is that the one with gwuildar (spelling) in it?
I remember seeing it as a kid and being really pissed off that they made this annoying character up and put him in for no reason.

That's the one. Not even a young Courtney Cox saved the movie. :D The whole going to Earth thing was crap. It could have been so much better.

No way! The Gollum scene was ace! And you have to admit its pretty important to the story. I prefer the Hobbit book to the LORT trilogy so I suppose going to prefer the film as well though.

Watched, The Watch, funny in places and enjoyable enough, probably not as consistently funny as it should have been with that cast but light entertainment for a Wednesday night.
Watched Total recal (2012) now, growth visuals and again entertaining enough.

I'm with Liam on this. The Gollum scene is important to the plot, no doubt about it, but it went on for 1, maybe 2, riddles too many. I was getting a bit bored of riddles. The dwarves in the house at the start was pretty slow as well. I reckon a lot of that could have been cut and included in the extras of the DVD. I agree with you on the book being better than LOTR's though.
