latest film/ dvd you have seen

Also seen wrath of the titans last week, just kept watching because of the effects, a movie for a slow day I guess...

Saw Fracture today, if you haven't seen it, see it, Ryan Gosling is quite good in this, and Anthony Hopkins gave me the usual
Hannibal vibes, which was perfect in this one!

I don't know what to say mate

I have seen the advert for this, it looks grotesque.

Glad you enjoyed it though, might just be enough to have a watch when it makes it to TV (might).

2 great films (IMO) worth a watch which I just saw are kick ass, funny as hell, I really really enjoyed this one & Carnage, not your average film for sure with zero special effects/violence/nudity or anything outrageous but its so on the ball its a must watch

raiders of the lost ark (10/10) was on bbc1 tonight and well i have the dvd ive seen the film countless times, but it was on tv you cannot but help watch it, its like the choice has been made for you! classic film......"dum dum dum da da da".........also recently watched a french film called a town called panic (8/10) its crazy i reccomend it its right giggle

Just been stuck in the US with work for a few weeks. The place where my office is, is very, very quiet (statistically the second safest city in the US I believe, which translates as one of the dullest) anyway there is a very nice cinema there, and as I have two little ones under 5 I never get the chance to go in the UK, that said I do have tickets for Batman at the IMAX soon :). Anyway with little else to do in this Us town I went to the cinema five times in five days:

Pixar's Brave - great film, lovely story and the animation is stunning, a must watch film if you love that sort of film

Ted - hands down the most offence comedy I have seen in years, it rocked. If you love Family guy, American dad, bad 1980's references and the idea of a degenerate teddy bear screwing ladies of the night this is one for you.

Prometheus - as I had been warned not to get all Alien about it my expections were low, that said I enjoyed it as a si-fi film in its own right, if not cinema then a solid DVD film.

Snow White and the Huntsmen - solid and enjoyable film, loved the grittier tone and the fact it was more in tune with the true nature of fairy tales

The Amazing Spiderman - hands down the best spiderman film yet. Perfectly cast and a nice tight story to begin the trilogy as planned. A must see film, but avoid that 4D rubbish that is doing the rounds, just hurts the back after a while

 You picked the best week to go away Matt!

I've been waiting for Ted ever since it was announced. It doesn't open in the UK until the 1st August though

The trailer for anyone that's interested

Already out in the US but released at the cinema on 01 August Pete. Hopefully it will get a good release now that Family Guy is more well known...

Yeah lucked out with Ted, it was only out as a last minute thing as GI Joe got delayed.
For me it was literally pee your pants funny and the best bits are not in the trailer, which can be the case some times. And not forgetting Mila Kunis! A welcom addition to any film :)

Looking forward to this, saw the trailer when I went to see The Dictator, looks really good...

Not read this thread before.

Finally watched The Kings Speech last night, bloody excellent, really really good.

Last film which i watched thinking, i want to tell others to watch this is "Senna" and "Tell No One" (French film version of Harlan Coben's classic book. Harlen Coben rocks.

I also took the kids to watch the Muppets on Saturday, that film was frickin hilarious, minominom!

Lookin forward to Bond late this year

Before Bond (which looks Great) ere is the small matter of that tiny sleeper indie film - The Dark Knight Rises to get through :) my IMAX tickets arrived the other day, the only down side is I have to wait until the 28th Aug as that was the earliest book I could get...

went to watch new spider man in them moving seats ,there worth extra few pound but the film is shite .

hellraiser ...glad i never watched this as a kid
