Chris (Poncho) ran a fun comp a week or so back to guess a figure's name. I was lucky enough to get it right after many yes/no questions and answers and today my prize arrived:

And... as an added bonus he'd made me a Christmas decoration too! :D

I'm pretty sure everyone had their eye on this at some point during the Sunday at FF but I'm glad I decided to snap it up.

Thanks again Mark.

I came real close, my heart sunk a little when I saw you'd snagged it. I'll always think of it when it see a Star Wars "bag for life" now.

Great stuff fellas! This thread has become darn near a daily ritual for me. Keep 'em coming!

I was lucky enough to pick these up on the car journey home from FF. It's amazing how a traffic jam on the m25 can soften your resolve into not collecting another line!

Sister & Brother Palitoy Beauties There.

Here's my first pick up in months. Following on from my "wrong figure in ship" thread, this guy holds a very special place in my memories. I also put up a thread in eBay sales regarding this exact MOC. The seller had listed and pulled it several times over the last 6 or so months. It was last listed for a BIN of £275 I believe. Eventually he put in an auction, I won it for a very reasonable £143, but half expected some issue as he had a couple of negative feedback for not sending an item after sale. But good as gold, I won Monday, it arrived today. Merry Christmas to me.

No worries Scott :)

The one amazing thing I noted about FF was the fact I didn't buy anything - not one thing :( Really wanted one or two loose Last 17 or a boxed 12" but nope.

The one thing I did buy, from Mt Tree's auction, was the Ewoks DairyLea pot for £20 which I then promptly sold to Steve (Savory100) for the same amount as he really wanted it to go with his Ewok video that he had from childhood.

Lee on the other hand had the bargain of the day IMO, a loose Luke Poncho in stunning condition (minus the gun though) for £15!

Forever grateful for the sale, it does look cracking next to the video on display :D :D :D

Great pick ups superb!!!!

Thanks! Just for clarity, these weren't for sale at a service station on the M25 - I gave the seller a lift to/from FF! ;)

Those are killer Max!

Was that the seller with the small table of MOC's and the ESB shelf-talker?

I kept looking at them but there was no price showing so knew they were out of my price range.

Great pick-ups

No - these were on Gary Smith's stall (not his figures though) - the stall you are talking about had a couple of lovely harberts I think.

Haven't been buying any toys lately but have picked up some other bits. Can still enjoy collecting on a budget!

Nice paperwork, Andy :)

Maxf, those carbacks are great. Han is my favourite there as I'm pretty sure that's a Toy + Hobby price sticker? How much has it got printed on it, out of interest?

Yes - good spot! It was 1.55, reduced to 1.25! Nobody wanted old 30bk Han - how things change haha.
