Bit of a deal outside of eBay for this one
So tempted to have it graded

What happened there, I thought that was an auction? I watched it.

Funny story, I watched it for the whole week, PC crashed with about 30 seconds to go and I thought my bid had posted, so thought I'd won, but when my PC came back to life, it showed it had closed with no bids indeed. I emailed the chap within the next 30 seconds to ask if he would set-up a BIN, he did and sold my way a minute later. Close call! :o

Very close! Bloody technology, it's a nightmare. I always worry my phone is going to freeze or something when bidding in the last few seconds.

Not exactly easy to price I guess but it seemed like a bargain to me

Got a nice upgrade for my loose Droids R2 yesterday and today I took delivery of a cool little piece to compliment him. It's an original animation pencil drawing from the cartoon series. Sorry about the pic, didn't realise it was so bad until I'd packed it away! Can't wait to get it framed.

Found this figure in a 'beater childhood loft find lot' I didnt have the heart to strip of its incorrect accessories. love the fact Chewbacca's cargo net has been used a cape! genius 8)

This figure reminds me of why i collect and im sure most of you will think the same, the nostalgia of happy days of playing with starwars toys as a small boy and having adventure.

I present the 'Imaginative Play Darth Vader' im gonna leave him as is (frosting/dust) lol and display him with my the rest of my loosies.

enjoy

regards
chris

 Not seen that done before Chris Catwalk Vader variant.

Love that droids R2 Jimi, very nice indeed.

Mark that Pali Bespin Luke is very nice, the card looks minty fresh.

They are something different Savory, very cool when stuff you've never seen before pops up. Nicely done.

Here's my latest, complete 12" Boba Fett to add to my 12" set, his right hand was detached but it's now held in place with a cut down pin.

The second nice little surprise, was that I asked the seller to bring along some Klaatu figures if they had any, for the small reference guide
Delighted when he produced a Hard to find, 4 Tan Limbs variant

Love the 12 " boba's and the fish net vader!

I'm still skint so just some very cheap paperwork from me, from 3 comics.

I'm going to try and do a date order list of UK toys & mail aways before long.

If anyone knows a Karl Brown from Liverpool, then I'll send his comic back!

Likewise if anyone recognises their childhood writing!

These chaps turned up today, oddly bought the same day as the uncut label sheet they go with, amazingly quick delivery from Todd Chamberlain in the US to get these here so quick!

41 Back Palitoy 2-1B

Well this was an interesting little acquisition. I've been watching it a couple of months. It was originally listed as BIN on eBay for £975. I did a previous sales check on eBay and Vectis to see what any had sold for, and the only one was Vectis a few months back for £240 (before commission, so would have been £300 total) and I was wondering if it was the same figure flipped. The price was dropped a couple of times, until it eventually went into a 10 day auction starting at £249. I messaged the seller to ask what the 70 grade was for, and he said the ding in the bubble. If it was the Vectis one, the punch had obviously come loose at some point in transit to the AFA. The seller wanted to know if I wanted to do a deal outside of eBay, as he'd had a lot of interest. He suggested around £500, but I mentioned that I wasn't prepared to go above £300, but I didn't want to do him out of any money, so said to him to let the auction run as he'd surely do better than that. Well it ended as me as the only bidder at £249. Once I had it I examined it and I'm 99.99% certain it is the Vectis one. Touch, so I got it for £50 less than he paid. I hate those style of AFA case, and the punch hanging out, so did my first jail-brake and put it into one of Iain's cases with the punch re-secured. Scary as hell braking the case open as they don't muck about making them bomb-proof. I used a hammer and screwdriver to open a small corner, then carefully worked away at it with pliers until I could slide it out. Happy days :D
