Picked up a 77 back for the focus.

A UKG ESB stormtrooper from Iain on the forums. Love this first graded piece I've owned.
And then a gamble.
The Han Bespin is a 45 back German General Mills. Bought with full knowledge it could be a Toni. I was 50/50 when I purchased. Now I've got in hand and studied it, whilst referring to the threads on forums I'm feeling 80% certain it's not a Toni. Maybe wishful thinking.
I've posted a thread with some more detailed photos. Would love to here everyone's options on it.

It's not often I feel compelled to throw around platitudes but I love this piece - many congrats on the acquisition Aaron.

When my old dear heard I was finally cataloguing my childhood vintage collection, she disappeared upstairs, came back and presented me with this... one she'd bought for herself back in '85 because she liked Yoda so much... Speechless! Nice one mum.

ace said:been busy running 4 shows in 4 countries in 4 weeks so just had time to down load my photos and some of the things i bought on my travels , one thing that people on here are going to love is this a 1985 toyshow display for that years figures
i saw this in a photo take at the time around 15 years ago then about two year later i saw a picture of it in a house in someones collection i could not tell if it was a child's collection or a collectors display then nothing till last week then it came up for sale and i knew what it was as soon as Mark told me about it , i had to have it , something i thought might have been lost or destroyed years ago but no it survived

the last bit of info came from its owner of 18 year that said it came from a Manager of a John Lewis the shop was sent this to use for a big display one year and after it was used he took it home for his kids then it was no longer wanted this collector got it around 18 year ago.
it still has the Han in Carbonate case on the wall in the palace part the only figure part to still be attached , now i have to buy loads of figures to put them back on after it is restored , i have to to also try to work out what vehicles that was on it also ? there is a Sarlaac pit on there so i am wondering as it was for toy fair if it had the vehicles that had not come out here ? as this would have been for the year coming ??
if anyone has photos of it at toy fair that would help a lot , i have see images of it there but i cannot remember who had them and i did not get a copy of them it was around 15 years a go ?
enjoy and if anyone has photos of its early life i would love to see them thanks

That display is brilliant Jason. A real piece of SW history.![]()
Something quite different for me today. I've always liked the look of Film Cells so decided to pull the trigger on a few original 1977 cells. Have a good few but here are some of my favourite. I have slide mounts on the way to display them properly.
Leia in the control room. Really like this as it reminds me of the cardback
A few X Wing cells including Red Leader. I really liked the shot through the cockpit 8)
