It all looks good to me. The EB Set is my absolute favourite SW piece of all times since it was the first toys released by kenner.
You got a good deal mate. The Luke looks good to me. It looks authentic to me. The trousers are the correct colour and the sabre looks good also.

Thanks for all of the comments guys. This is one peice i have been searching for. It has taken me some time and although i have a few concerns over the baggie types and the luke figure - i beleive the saber to be a genuine DT and the box and tray are in great condition. Overall i am really pleased.

I intend to speak to oscar shortly to get a custom display case. Just not sure the best way to display it. Any ideas?????

its a fantastic peice, maybe a two tier presentation with the box open (figure slots showing) at the back, and the figures at the front to really show it off, or would you want it sealing?

you could get peg holes on the front to stand them in the case or a small support behind and up the sides of their legs so you cant see any plastic.

there's loads you could do, but the more you show it off the better

Oscar made my case, i cant access webshots (username: theguiltyone) from my work PC to provide the link, but its in my SW baggies folder, basic but i like it.

Ive seen some nice AFA displays for these things where the figure tray is above or below the box with the paper work and catalogue to the side, BIG case but impressive.

As I've said via email that EB set is a very sweet piece and an absolute steal - congrats. Don't be concerned about the baggie types they are all genuine and the GM Baggie for the Luke DT is much harder to find than the usual white MIHK. All you need now is the paperwork and of course a nice EB Envelope ( :wink then set Oscar to work!

Slim - i only use oscar. I believe the quality to be hihger than that of AFA or UKG. Oscar is a sound bloke and i keep in regular contact with him.

Christian - just waiting for your email mate on the EB certificate and we can finalise our trade.

Came home from work today to another batch of cases from Oscar. This time it was for my Admiral Ackbar and Nien Nunb mailers.

I've now got all the figures in acrylic. I just need to decide how I want to do the two display stands and Young Jedi mailer. Here is a new overall view.
